Ended up having a productive day. Did a lot of long overdue pruning in the garden. Planted a few herbs - including 6 cayenne pepper seedlings.

mess in progress cleverly missing out the 1/3 of the wall still cream..... and the colour is a bit darker than this crappy webcam shows LOL

I love painting, it proper cheers me up it does!

:l Molly. Hope everything works out. I need a holiday too. But I don't see any in the near future. I am trying to keep positive but it's hard at times. But NO-drink will defintely not help.
I'm off to cook a light dinner and hopefully read a bit before bed. I'll probably check back in before sleeping.

I loathe the fireplace and the carpet, one day we will rip the lot out and put something a little more modern in... when the cat pops it and the kids have grown out of spilling stuff all over the place

I have done it now, 2 coats, just drying then we'll put the tv and fish tank back and take another photo!
