I came down to my living room this morning to a most gorgeous purple wall and I smiled at myself for sticking with it last night and getting it finished

yes I can't believe how warm and cozy and just awesome the room looks now. I mean the cream was fine but this is something else........

and I love purple anyway, since I stopped drinking it has been my colour !

Morning all

Don't like the sound of that "very difficult meeting" tips, but I'll send my good vibes to you along with those of everyone else. Is it something to do with the "R" word?

Still up at my mother's, but she's gone out for several hours to do her Monday voluntary work, so I've got the house and her PC to myself (so I don't have to hide my sneaky visits to MWO!) Going back home this evening. Planning to go for a lengthy walk along the towpath of the River Severn this afternoon as it's still astonishingly mild for October. We're within a couple of 100m of the river.

Pingu, I do that, too... buy something quite ordinary and grin like a kid in a candy store every time I walk by it. Fun, innit!? I love the wall, btw. I did peek in last night but I was too pooped to actually post.

Guess, who I visited last night? Hm? Yep, the grand peanut #2.. he was 5 weeks yesterday:



Funny, how much they change, especially early on. I really can't see my son anymore at all.. he's all his mum now Speaking of son... I just about fell off my scaffolding yesterday afternoon... junior came by for a quick hello and to show off his new guitar (that part was predictable) AND to pay me back money he owes me :wow: Now, that's a first!

And, speaking of scaffolding... I should go see how wet everything is after last night's rain. I need to crawl up there again and put finish on the back wall of the barn. *sigh*

Even though my mum asked me last night if I was pregnant. FFS I'm nearly 41 and I like the fact that my kids are growing up a bit. Apparently it was something to do with painting the wall. I just changed the subject quickly.
