Well before I start rabbiting on I have messages from far, far away. Well about an hour and a half up the road.

Enjoying the wild place here. Sunny and warm watching the seals,owls etc.
Best bit was being sober every night around the family. They have one beer and it lasts all night!
Oh and by the way good morning everyone. Where are me manners.

Managed to get a couple of hours extra sleep this morning and since then I've been doing really important things like having a bath and picking up all the rubbish from the floor and doing the laundry, but mostly I've been watching the farce in Brussels.

Anway, how was work today Jackie?

Yo Reccy,

It was rather good this aftie. Had a bit of a heart pounding moment. Someone kicked off, pacing up and down and effing and jeffing on his phone. He didn't half get ticked off by the boss lady. He went as quiet as a mouse and apologized profusely.

And I'm in all day on 11/11/11 as there's a big assessment day as they're starting a new alcohol prevention service.

I take it that was one of the clients kicking off and not one of the people who worked there . I must admit that I would feel a bit nervous about working in a place where there are drug addicts and alcoholics around all day. You're obviously made of sterner stuff than me.

Hadn't realised that unique date was coming up.

That was just a mild kicking off and I could do the raised eyebrows and keep it down voice. He prolly just forgot he was on the phone.

They've only had 2 serious kickings off in 5 years and you just leave the room and phone the police.

I'd rather deal with that young man effing and jeffing than the snooty cow I had booking in for her acupuncture and meditation sessions. Most displeased she was that it was fully booked for next week.
