International rules, a series of three matches played between Aus & Ire, compromised rules between Aussie football & Irish gaelic football. Been going for years now and always a good spectacle and normally quite physical.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

morning all
Felt good last night to see a doctor who was actually kind and not a b1tch, had time to listen and didn't judge, and who sent me home smiling and not in tears LOL (the appt was about Lucy but I also mentioned that I hadn't been too pleased by another doctor asking me why I found it hard now that I had stopped drinking ....)
Anyway I am home alone for the last day and I found a paintbrush, a manky wall and a fresh tin of paint......I have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way
They don't call me Pingu Purple Pants for nothing....

Good morning army
Zenny - go ahead and talk all you want, that's what we're here for :l.
Sitting here dying for a drink, but fortunately there isn't any in the house and I don't feel like going out to buy some, having had a crap night's sleep. Hopefully the cravings will pass.
Might take a look at that book, Mrs A. It gets good reviews on Amazon.

Hi Pingu, & Reccie. Thats the thing about cravings Reccie, they do pass. I think best described as a big wave approaching, just hang tight and it will wash over you and continue on its way to the next poor sod, probably me in a couple of hours.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

what's the book that everyone's talking about?
I bought Allen Carr's book but I haven't got round to reading it yet..... denial? Or just plain laziness...... I'm not a big reader, prefer to listen to music!I have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way

Hi tabs, I like the wave description.
This is the book, pingu:
Kick the Drink....Easily!: Amazon.co.uk: Jason Vale: Books
Judging by the titles of his other books, the author seems to have a bit of an obsession with juice diets.
Edit - Xpost JC.
