The bike actually "wants to be straight up" we have to use the handle bars to make it lean. We use whats called countersteering. You push on the handle bar side that you want to turn, and the bike will lean that way on its own. They are very very stable, as long as the bike is under acceleration. If you stop the input on the bars, the bike will right itself on its own. It should not come out from under you. Hitting the brakes, something in the path, or accelerating too hard, is usually the reason a bike will slip.

The video was cool and if that was your wife, she's a pretty cool dudette! I've done some biking and I'm a better rider than driver...that is all.:H I am happy to cruise top down with no helmet for miles and miles.
