    Army Thread Sunday 30th October

    Good morning army

the clocks have gone back here in the uk so we get an extra hour of sleep tonight and then darker evenings. Haven't got any booze in the house at the moment, so I've had to resort to 3 nitrazepam to try to get some sleep. If you don't hear back from me, they've worked. (Fat chance!)

Zenny, your pharmacy must be due to open soon? Will you be able to post from work? Hope your house is still in one piece after the downpour.

Went for a lengthy midnight walk and then spent a few hours in front of my PC updating my blog etc. I spend far too much time indoors in front of the PC and really must learn to get a life. At long last, I feel ready to make some changes. We'll see. If anyone has any advice on how to deal with those early-morining cravings, I'd be very interested to hear it,

Hope everyone else has an enjoyable Sunday.

        Hiya Reccie & Sunny

Reccie. You're sounding positive. That's brilliant. Get yourself some l-Glutamine powder and put that under your tongue. And early morning walks will also help. Now you have a double incentive to get out there.

Plan of action: finish my coffee, jump into the shower, get dressed and finish shopping in less than 1h30m. Three shops, list compiled in order of visits and aisle layout. Easy peasy.

            Good night Sunny.
Good morning Wrecky. Do your cravings come in the morning? Could your midnight walk become a morning walk as well?
If you are going to get up Kilimanjaro you will need the extra walking fitness.

When I started to run(not that long ago) I thought if I could just run 1k without stopping that would be enough.I can now run marathons.

So for you young Reccie anything is possible. Lots of people around me have said if she can do it so can I and many of my friends and family now run.

Walking/hiking the hills sounds much more fun and challenging than almost anything else.

Morning Reccie, Tips, Coach and evening GG!
I haven't started running yet. I have increased my walking though. I am ashamed to say I have been "modding" with the smokes. Nothing like how I used to smoke but the number is creeping back up. I thought if I just had one or two a day as a "treat" it would be ok but it's already getting to three or four. And it's difficult to control myself. I guess it will have to go back to 100% NF or nothing. :upset:
