      :hallo: Army

I decided to tell the weather to feck off. It didn't, but we had a braai in any case. The loveliest little loin chops were consumed.
      I'll do whatever it takes

Don't like X-Factor either. One of the advantages of living alone is that you don't have to fight for control of the remote control.

        Edit: evening tabbers and tips.

Yo Tippers, Ktabbers, and big yooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooos and general *waves* to them what I haven't yoooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooed before.

We used to have BBQ every New Years Day when the kids were little as none of could get babysitters for New Years Eve. Haven't done it for about 7 years now. Time to revive the tradition methinks.

In good news today the little oil filled radiator we bought actually heats the conservatory without the electric meter spinning round so fast it nearly falls of the wall,so I will now have an extra room to use over the Winter.

And I bought a lovely little pair of sparkly style pumps to go with me Christmas outfit that were on sale.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

I did all of the above my Osteoporosis started much earlier. By 45 by bones were aged 82.
I have reversed all of that now. Most alkies do not live long enough to develop such a degree of Osteoporosis. I increased my exercise, ate a more healthy diet, gave up ciggies but could not give up the booze until recently.

I'm defo going to have to get to the Farne Islands next year. I've tried to get on the boat trip twice and it's always been to rough to go.

Hello Jackie and pingu too. :H I'm never too polite to ask, Reccie. Big mouth and even bigger curiosity is wot I've got.

Now you've got me worried. Mind you a few years ago when I had a bone mass test done on my spine, it measured 135% for my age. My doctor thought I might have bone spurs on my spine but it was just thicker bone than is usual for my age. (No comments about my age from the Panda, thank you very much.)

Had the most delicious lamb chops on Friday at the "taverna" with younger son and friends. A huge platter, plus two huge platters of mixed grill, various salads and appetizers. The truth be told, we were full after eating the appetizers and salads and it was all we could do to down a couple of chops each. They actually took home three packets of meat left over from the mixed grill platters and the chops. Nothing goes to waste in our crowd.

Okay, we want pictures. Still waiting for a piccie of you in that new coat.

Secondly, good news about the radiator. My dear Mother-in-Law used to have one of those and it kept her quite cozy.

Now about the BBQ on New Year's Day - is the weather not shite that time of year? I mean, you get so much rain anyway, and then it would be cold in the middle of winter. Brrr, just thinking about it.

It's one of the coldest days of the year NYD but wrapped up warm. we were fine. If it was too wet or windy we'd open the garage door and light it in there.
And I used to make a gigantic veggie chilli, a curry and a big pan of broth.

we're mad about Hallowe'en over here, personally I don't care for it much but I will paint Lucy's face and let the kids duck for apples and the like. But I draw the line at trick or treating cos it scares people and some of the teenagers can get really spiteful. Anyway I've done my bit, some black make up and she is happy. Over for another year!
I have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way

                              Nighters Stirls,

It's a public hollingday tomorrow in Irland, if I'm not mistaken (just had a sneaky look at the calender)

We just used to just trawl the kids round the neighbours that we knew. Then either here at our house or next door let the kids half drown themselves bobbing for apples while we had a 'few' drinks.

I once got given a bottle of wine when by a stranger when I went trick or treating, I was about 13... Must say I was very pleased but can't help but be a little concerned about people giving children alcohol because they have run out of sweets...

randomn coincidence time - I'm off to london tomrorow too, just for the day mind, but still...
I have faced it, a life wasted, and I am never going back there again

To ya'll my name is inchy. I am an alcoholic - and priority number one is making it to the end of this day AF. No excuses.
