p.s. Our lawn mower broke and it's beginning to look like the amazon in the front yard.
Really looking forward to Egg Nog Making its way to the stores soon.
      I LOVE CHRISTMAS.

Pretty good this week Bridge, so far. I've eaten more saltines in a month than I have the last 15 years.
I also did not watch the races. My house is now halfway Christmas decorated.

Morning Undies and Sundries. Did watch the cup and then put by head down for a nana nap and they all got dinner and generally left me alone. Have just surfaced and debating on walking now or later...have gruppage going on so will probably go now...

              Gruppage?

Morning Undies - there's a nice post by ATT, a fellow Undie and one of the early starters back in '05. Well worth a read. https://www.mywayout.org/community/f4...ion-53239.html

More preparing for bushfire season here today. Basically involves getting rid of all flammable material to the north and west.

Have a good one - will check youse at lunchtime.

                    Morning Undies

Hot/thundery day here. People working in garden today, so can't let my pups have free reign in the garden - will be stir crazy by early afternoon!

Did no one win on the cup yesterday? Must admit I don't bother with it any more - all that build up then it's over in a couple of minutes :-)
                    Have a great day all

                      Undies in November

                      Morning all,

Just a thought/idea for our currently drinking Undies. My day 1 was last sunday. Today, i am on day 4, after 2.5. yrs total sobriety. So i am back in the trenches, the frontline, and struggling/battling/fighting with you, the drinkers who want to stop. I'll have 30 days AF up before you can say 'Warnie's a boofhead', so i'm wondering if any drinking Undies might draw even a smidgin of strength or inspiration from this journey, and tag along for a few AF days here and there? Even 30 day's? I am going to infinity and beyond regardless, and am relaxed and focused, but before anyone dare whinges and thinks....'yeah, it's easy for him to say and do' etc....Noooo, that wouldn't ring true would it? or rolls out the classic.....'but there's too much pressure! work, family.....' Our external environment is a factor, sure, but it's our internal environment that will get us through. Here i am, back at the starting line with you. I am a hardcore drinker, and a hardcore person. If i can do it, so can you. There is no-one and nothing to blame. Do, or do not.

My hand is outstretched, for whatever that's worth here. :h

'I am part of all that I have met, yet all experience is an arch wherethro', gleams that untravelled world whose margins fade, forever and forever when I move'

                      Zen soul Warrior. Freedom today-

With you to G-star. Sticking with the plan. Nearly gave myself "permission" yesterday. Declined the invite. Think thats why Tawnys indignation link clicked.

                          Hello lovely Beagle.

                              hello happy & blondie.
15 yr wedding anniversary today. who'd have thought i'd stick it out this long.
then, combined with 20 yr vet reunion on weekend, only serves to make me feel old, tired, & substandard in all things.
on the upside, missy's meatloaf is in the oven to take on a picnic into the most romantic of all places : our best crop. god, being married to a farmer brings about all sorts of surprises.
happy, am sending you something tomoz.

Hi Beagle and Happy Anniversary - today is also the 65th wedding anniversary of a lovely couple I know, so perhaps you're not that old :-) I'd rather have a picnic by a river than dine in any restaurant, so enjoy!
