    Undies in November

jeez sunny that's bloody annoying. we had our credit card cancelled after bank contacted us just after a trip to Phuket where it was suspect that hubby's card had been tampered with....
ellaq hope you get a good night's sleep & yes that your kiddy wakes up all better.
good news ; missy's meatloaf a certifed hit. i added danish feta & used toasted alomnds as had no pinenuts, mr b raved about it. i explained that meatloaves were coming back into culinary fashion. it definitely put the smoked chicken salad in the shade.
it was a plesant enough arvo , but my previous hints that in-depth crop talk is not my forte have been forgotten , it seems. back to square one. we sat in my camper with the roof up & swatted away lots of flies & hubby talked about crops. this is going to be very hard, the steps i will take now. but they must be done.
further good news : mare has been AI'ed & following a positive 16 day scan she will come home to brew a baby. mares have a gestation of 11 months so sorry sunny i won't be able to really commiserate with you, as you'll be a few months ahead! but don't worry undies, pics will abound.
also finding a boyfriend for my Rosie is possibly getting closer. when she next comes into season we will try to get a litter, & then puppy photos will abound.
    goodnight everyone.

            Morning Saucy,

But how sure are you that he didn't actually forge the A ???

Just read a post by our mate Aspy - the kind of post that makes your heart sing. For those of you who don't venture much into other threads, I'll quote him here:

"My rock bottm was when my 9 month old baby boy was sitting on my lap at the computer tabe. I took a swig of beer, so he took a swig of his bottle, he slamed it down on the table and sighed just like daddy did when he had finished it. I then realized this was yet another generation(5th in a row i think) that may end up a drunk and it was /is up to me to give him a chance.

two years on and his little sister has never seem me drink. "

            Noice.

Have a good one, one and all.

              Morning Undies

Lovely story re Aspys. And lovely flower too.

I love that the bank thought you'd spent $5k on food :-) Not much fun being without your cards (or home invasion!!!) I'm lost without internet connection as everything is on computer and all transactions conducted online.

Found a plague (not the right word - what's the collective noun?) of ladybirds on one of my rosebushes, just as I was contemplating having to get chemical help to eradicate the aphids. So good one Mother Nature.

Another day of keeping dogs housebound, so another day of going further round bend.

Whatever the original punishment period was, stick to it. Forgery issue and grade issue are mutually exclusive.

Stolen credit, home invasions and a quick trip to casualty here (should be right mate).

Keep calm and carry on, Undies .........

Morning everyone, nice lovely sleep in. We've got spare dogs staying with us for a week. Should keep me busy. I'm going to head to work for 2 hours, then run some errands, and hit the gym. See you all late arvo.

Heavy story there saucy. I am pretty sure credit card details were compromised paying my US tax bill on one of their official payment websites. I never really use my credit card, it mainly just is a space filler in my wallet. I sent them an email.

Way to go ASPY!!!! Awesome post.
Keep doing the good work people.
Glad you had a lovely meatloaf Beags.

Just back from a swim and a bit of lurkage....and have to confess to a little bit of Grande Coffee icecream, why? coz I felt like it and it tasted bloody good...have to finish off more work in the dungeon...drat....

                          arvo underoos & guests.
a stormy, humid day here & i think a lot of flies have supplemented my diet. they are the stickiest feckers you've ever seen.
power flickering on & off, thank goodness we have a bloody great big surge/power protector thingy on the puter but if the air-con fails then it'll be mighty stuffy & sweaty....
hoping for NO rain now but the forecast is for bucket loads, which makes me worry when we're orf to the big smoke tomoz , about the doggeroos.
they're currently all languishing inside on the cool tiles.
funny, it's only 29 but being the frist coupla warm days for the season, we're a bit too warm! usually i like anything between 25-28, my perfect temp, but i'll hold on the side order of flies thanks.
tawny, you have an upside down tomato thingy don't you? well i transplanted my tom seedling into it on Tues & then damn thing's died! grrrr.... is it my black thumb? so i'm going to try & buy another later tom seedling & hide the other dead one....
hope you're all going to have a good weekend, will be leaving sparrow's tomoz then back Sunday so will catch you all next week.
                          any news from raggsy?

Maybe he could be rewarded in a different way for the good grade? Then you've reinforced good behaviour without losing ground on the whole forgery issue????
Just going soft now because I've been cuddling animals all day.

Beags - have a top time in the big smoke. You deserve it.

Think Raggsie said she'd be gone for a week so not expecting her to emerge until Sat at the earliest.

Hope everyone with kids/pets/aphids and impending weekend away are well and truly kicking arses. Wonder if Reggie got to hook up with Sapphy in Tassie. Soooo many questions ... so little time.

Had a fan-fusking meeting with chainsaw/gardener man. He put in a most impressive two hours today and we've agreed to a regular two-hour weekly gig. ***squeals and clasps hands***

                              Good tv night tonight.

                              Next?
