Awe look, you lot go to bed earlier and earlier.
Four dogs are running the house. They escaped from the yard today and must have been running the streets all day. They make me tired so I have been hanging in the cheap seats.
Haven't you all heard of the socks monster. The washer or dryer eats one in order to keep the sock industry in the profits, They're in bed together.
Last night, right before bed, our main computer died, which was lame. It connects to the tv so that we can watch all our downloads, and I was going to watch the slap. Oh well, getting fixed, and will be back tomorrow.
MB, your trip sounds lovely, except for the sick bit.
My eyes are closing as I type. Sleeping with 3 dogs and a husband is not really comfortable. The dogs crowd on my side of the bed.
Anyhoo, lots of love to you all.
Ella, enjoy the time with your hubby.

Well I'm going to go and 'occupy' my bed and protest uneven distribution of my wealth.
You have to make some ground rules with those dogs Sunny :H
They'll do exactly what they can get away with. A bit like kiddies. And other adults. :HIf your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Hehe, you're absolutely right bridge. Thankfully we return 2 dogs to their owners on Thursday, and we can chill out a bit more. I might even be in the kitchen this weekend.
Tuckage all!

Morning ratbags,
I am back. I have been awol for some time as for some inexplicable reason I could not, I say I just fusking could not get on here!!! I finally had a brain wave this morning and have now registered again with a different username. I have forgotten how to do the bloody avatar thing, so if some kind hearted dude could help me get Taz back on the screen, I will kiss your feet. Have so much to tell...some good...some not so good. But I just had to log on and get back into the swing of things. It will take me a while to read back. Happy dance...happy dance...Saff is back!!!!!I am part of the family of humanity. I tell yous....this little black duck is so pissed off. I am busy penning letters to just about everyone that I can think of. Politicians; newspapers; the church elders of every denomination. I even sent one to daffy duck cause I think that it might have more impact talking to a fictitious cartoon character.
I have to rush off...gotta look for a job. Will be back to spill the beans on the GOOOD things that have been happening.......soooooo yous will just have to wait to hear all the details about the love life. Love yas to the moon and back..Saff xx:h:h:h:h::new:I am part of the family of humanity. Not one person on this earth is a stranger to me. - Rev. Ted Noffs

You are spot on about some Not for profit org's being a big business and all about the dollar, AND, hehe, cutting costs, i.e. in the front line/direct service where money and resources are badly needed. Good synopsis of the state of play, and i've suspected this for a long time. The salvo's come to mind. Some good folk there, but some cold, purely business administrators and bean counters towards the top.
I often wondered what you were up to.
It's great to see you Saff! :h

.....and THAT happened when various governments started to outsource and fund other organisations, (knowing that the non public sector can do it cheaper).... who were then forced to come up with bargain basement services in order to win tenders......and were then forced to hire hard arsed business managers to go get the money, people who don't know, and possibly don't care about the client.
Good on you for fighting the good fight Sapphy. It's long overdue and up to all of us who work at the front line to bring attention to the issues. These folk can rarely advocate for themselves effectively. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
