I'm sorry but I'm just about to having a dummy spit here....
I am SO sick of cleaning up after people.
Jesus! I am pretty sure that I didn't study for 4 years so that I could walk around in ever decreasing concentric circles picking up other people's shite!!!!!!

Trouble is, they don't see the value of an organised clean environment, and I can't do without it.....if I was smart, I would just take my hands off the wheel in protest....but yuck! Can you imagine?

Morning Undies

Hope all well. Haven't read back over weekend's shennanigans. Will do shortly.

MiL taken to hospital this am and having difficulty getting info. We are booked to go over in a couple of weeks, but don't know whether to cancel and try and book asap. The hospital can't telll us anything over the phone except that she's being monitored and to speak with family members in NZ. But they tend to be a bit over-dramatic, so don't know what to do. Any ideas?

OK read back now. Lovely doggies people, but then I think all dogs are lovely (except those white ones with the long snout - can't remember what they're called!)

House meeting. Tonight. Lay out ground rules (again, and calmly) with clear reasons as to why some basic requirements must be met daily, and without question.

Oh, and what solution would the other inhabitants put forward when you discuss this? Get them to be a part of the solution, and owning it (man)?

Afternoon all,
Just spent half an hour reading back.
Lurverly doggies there Beags.
Bridge, don't drive yourself to desperation with the untidiness. I don't have any solutions that I can suggest though.

Mr Rags and I got cornered by the RFS to help out at the Highland Fling.... big international race held in the Penrose state forest. I was a marshal at location M26. Pics of that coming too for the bike riders in the Undies..

Clean fergotten where the Teddies got up to in their tale, but they went for a walk in the forest and where they saw Ms Monitor. (Another Monitor and huge goanna took up residence outside our burre.)



Then along came a snake, so they jumped up on some bracket fungus to let snake slide by.



That was all pretty tiring so it was time for a rest........




OMG! Just look what diving does to mah face!!.
Oh, and if you want to be bored tearless, try reading a Clive Cussler book.

Next day it was off to visit a nearby village.

People from local villages come every Thursday to Uepi to have a catch up and to sell their wood work... i bought heaps....

Now, there'd been lots of whispering between Penguin and Panda over the past couple of days, and finally after dinner.......





Penguin asked if he could stay on Uepi for a bit longer....

He loved the fine dining... so did I. Here he is tucking into shashimi tuna... caught about 2 hours before we ate it....





So I asked Josh and Jason if Penguin could stay on for a while.... they said they'd show him a good time....





So on the very last day we smelled the flowers....

Totally off-topic; goofy birthday ideas?

Hi Underoosies:

My nephew recently moved from the middle of the U.S. to near Melbourne. His office is in Mentone. His birthday is Tuesday (tomorrow, for you). I thought I'd found a singing Gorilla-gram to send to his workplace, but am getting no response from that web-site. Anyone live around Melbourne with a suggestion for where I could go to find something entirely goofy to set up for his birthday?

Late to be asking, I know . . . but just in case????
