Morning all.

A really shit night and morning here. My father's mouth cancer is inoperable due to his drinking related issues. Hours spent talking about him and his situation last night with family. I am frightened because the tumour in the back of his mouth is the exact same spot where my lump is............probably nothing for me, but the coincidence of timing is really shit. I can't tell my family about my situation because I don't want to add to their worries plus I am sure in some ways they would resent me telling them.
It will be a few weeks before I know my outcome.......husband is away till next week. I am not a panicker by nature so I am going to take it one. Plus I feel like a big selfish cow for focusing on me while my father is dying.

Drinking is not on my agenda........lucky for me right now that I only like to drink when my world is happy and secure.

Sorry to put a damper on things this morning.....but I have to tell someone how I feel.

Eaten mushroom and egg omelette - Undies inspiration and feeling less shittified. Question: How do they - the locusts - manage to have a punch up over one of them humming a tune....???? Fair enough it was something about COD... In the car on the way in geez would love to be in another car watching us, or in another car driving in a different direction...they will be on the bus in the mornings from now until term ends I reckon..

Thanks. We are keeping busy today....it is one of our busiest days. I got the earliest appointment I could get......these places are very busy and I am not priority. Even my father had to wait 1 week for his biopsy result.

There is probably nothing to worry about for me.......if it wasn't for the timing I wouldn't even be worried. And if in the worst case scenario for me it is still the best case scenario compared to my fathers. Plus I have never smoked a day in my life.

That's a bit rough Ella. Waiting for medical results is very cruel and worrisome, but if the priority is flagged 'low' perhaps there is some comfort to be taken from that.
Doesn't make the three weeks go any bloody faster though does it ?
