Really quiet here this PM. Guess it's a good thing. Had my girls (Mad and Grace) again this afternoon, and it was good. Reconnecting a bit with them. Grace made me a list of what she wants for Christmas, and will help me buy a gift for son's GF's lovely little daughter who is her new BF. All to do with the American dolls series. We had a lively dialogue about who Ninny belongs to now that I've been caring for her, and Grace made all her points about why she should be hers. We went out to feed her, and for the first time I actually let TMB into Ninny's pen. It was hilarious!! TMB tried to be all assertive, and Ninny just lowered her head and butted. They chased around, obviously both loving it, then together started chasing the cats!! They actually took turns eating the goat feed. TMB couldn't figure out Ninny on the swingset, Sadie just barked, and I laughed. It was a good time. Couldn't believe how much Ninny enjoyed TMB, and she was just befuddled!
Have an electrical problem in my kitchen, only Hubs can fix. There will be no nagging, just no food, until he does. I could tell you about the small problems leading up to this, tell him ITYS, but what's the point? Nothing to eat says it all.
Girls and I have scheduled our regular Christmas cookie day next Wednesday, so we're all happy. Son now gets them on Wednesdays too, and Grace started calling him the instant she thought he was off work ('when are you coming, Daddy'). Told me he was making her favorite spaghetti tonight, and when he got here he was on the phone with GF, walked over and hugged me and said 'Tell her I'm hugging you!!' I obviously loved it. After all that they and I have been through, this a very nice time in our lives, and will be better when the girls are settled. After so many things, having something happy is almost scary!
Vick, so sorry about you and Kelly being sick. It's obvious she ADORED her time with you, and you her. What a wonderful gift for you both.
Georgie, I left you out earlier and I'm sorry. Hope you are muddling through like we all do these days.
