Hi there everyone - Jan - thank you for explaining the Tide to me! Sorry they lost. It was very exciting here where I live when the Cards won last weekend so I can imagine how you must feel :upset: Ruby - why didn't you get any sleep last night? You are going to be a basket case if you don't get some rest soon - or should I say more then the basket case you already are !! :H Seriously - I am starting to get worried !!

Bird - so pleased that you have this week off - that weill give you some time to catch up - how lovely for you. Awesome for you to see the eagle - we get lots here a little further up river and they are quite a sight!!

Tony - great on the kids - as Bird said - you must be very proud of them!!

Mish - you are sounding so well - you sound at such a happy place inside, which just cannot be beaten! I am so pleased for you. :l:l

Rog - are YOU going to get any rest? We are going to be starting to worry about you soon if this goes on - it seems to be feast or famine for you work wise doesn't it? try and have a break and smell the flowers!!

Hi everyone - I'm at work today. Making up some time for being sick last week. Blech.

We've got rain today. Sure nothing like you all get back there.

Actually twisted hubby's arm to finally light our wall furnace. It has been so cold. It's not much but the furnace helps a little.

Ok - back to work so I can get out of here soon.

She is on her way back today Jan.... how come you are at work on a sunday - it IS Sunday - right? I am baking cookies for the construction chaps that we have at the store - they are a really good bunch of guys so thought I would take them in tomorrow. I have been SO good today - Hoovering, washing, tidying and am going to make me a hash of sweet pototoes, cabbage (should I mention cabbage to you jan LOL) onions and eggs! After I finish the cookies. Biz called me - so good to hear from you my friend - hang in there and come here and POST !!!!!!! love and hugs to you all,

Mama--Roll Tide anyway (I once heard and saw a drunk at a football game in Tuscaloosa stagger down the strip saying that after a loss --I always tell my husband I want an RTR (roll tide roll) not an RTA (roll tide anyway)! Checking in! Been cleaning all day but barely made a dent..... Sigh.... Like trying to dig in the sand, you can only get so far before the sand starts to fill it back in again. We were supposed to go see my new niece tonight but it looks like tonight is not going to work out, so maybe sometime this week. I saw a picture of her and she IS beautiful. I hope everyone had a nice day. I have a long hard day ahead of me tomorrow, two doctors and three hygienists to check in/out each of their patients and reschedule follow up appointments, plus two phone lines to answer, insurance to file for each and filing and pulling of charts, plus insurance pre-authorizations to file and call for! Then I come home at five and make dinner for the family. Phew! I am tired already! My ankle is swollen from being on my feet all day today on my hard wood floors. Well I may or may not be back on tonight, if not sweet dreams my lovelies! :hGina

hey there my dear friends ... well im done with that one job but the guy lives out of the contry at the moment and i really didnt want to do just becuase of that .. but i did some work for him in the past ..so crossing my fingers i dont get screwed and we have been emailing each other .. so hope to have a check in hand in a few days ..for the full amount and also pays me in advance for a roof repair he really needs on his rental.. but came home early and help out my nabor run some wire for outlets he needs and now just sitting down and ready to relax and oh i have some other news more work just came in but i think i may have to ask if this one waits till after the new year.. the lady is wanting to her florida room ceiling done in T&G 1X6 WHITE PINE and i dont think i can do that in one weekend .. so im at a dalama i hate passing up work .. but i know ill figure this out for best for all ... and there the grease monkey bis which is 5 days a week and pays ok steady at least...
but anyway enough about me so good seeing everyone post and doing great and thankx for the update on vicky ..well have a great eveing one and all im off to shower and then to bed love and big hugs

Good morning all-- nice and chilly here this morning-- if you don't mind sending some prayers and good vibes my way-- I am going to the dermatologist for a procedure at 10 a.m. this morning. They are cutting a nice chunk out right at my collarbone and neck base because it did in fact test bad (if you ever have a "feeling" about something go see about it definitely-- this is the second time I have had that feeling and both times it was melanoma). They think they will get it all by cutting it and it has not invaded the nodes so far as they can tell. I dread the numbing shot worse than anything else-- that thing hurts when they are going into a place where there is not much flesh. Hope all are well this morning-- thanks for letting us know about Vicki-- poor thing. Think I will lay around until the end of the school day after I get back from the doctor and hopefully get nice and busy tomorrow.

Sun I work on Sundays now and have Fridays off and I don;t like it.......we were closed on Sundays, but decided to open....

Thank you for the update on Vick, Grateful. That is good news.....good luck on the procedure ATL. That is sounding painful. I am having trouble with my collarbone-neck-ear area....MB, that sucks to work on Sun... Maybe I should go get it looked at. I hear Canadian geese flying over. So nice to be home and looks to be a lovely day..think I will do my homework and go for a walk...later on

Back home after a weekend at Tick Hollow...but I must go back tonight to meet a man about a furnace. Going to spend the night, as I don't relish driving home in the dark during deer rutting time- they're as crazy as can be this time of year! My night vision isn't what it used to be, either.
