Stood up on all appointments yesterday. New tenant called to reschedule as I rushed through the grocery store. Aunt couldn't get her family together to pick up all the furniture I gave her just to get rid of it. Still can't get rid of it. So they have one more chance each. (Yeah, I'm bad, I'm bad!! :H) Chilly and dreary here today, huh ATL? I'm so glad your check up came back well. Take care of yourself. Can't believe we're about an hour apart and haven't met!

Stuff to do, of course. Haven't seen Hubs since Friday, and that was for an hour, so all the rental is on me right now. The last week in December can't come fast enough. 'Layed off' Tay and JC for a while b/c she got smacky mouthed to me, and I won't have it. They've been creeping back to get in my graces, so probably will give them a pardon next week. Oh, and as for her friend and my meds, not one has disappeared since she was banned. Tough learning experience, but I'm more vigilant now.
Off to the wonderful world of rentals. Ya'll hang in there. Tony, hope the new car is a gem!

It is dreary here! I have some projects I have been putting off as well though I am not too itching to do them. Hubs leaves tomorrow first thing until Friday again to San Fran-- so lots of childcare stuff. I will start one of the main things tomorrow-- photo albums-- better just get them going before I forget when and where I took the pics. 2 of my favorite former football players face off today at 1-- I really don't care for pro football but I am going to check this one out because of them. marinating a flank steak for tonight-- but at this point soup sounds more on point!

Fen, you and Mrs. sound SO much like me and Hubs!!! Great highs and deep lows, huh? But aren't they great in the end (usually :H)? Take some pics when you visit Sun, please. She promised to e-mail me some of her visit to her Mum, but never did, so just get a few while you're there. I am jealous of your trip. One day I won't be indispensible here and who knows where I'll go!?

Hey, family! We are finally home and I am completely exhausted and not doing nothing today! Thank you all for your love, concern and encouragement. Georgie, I may get knocked down, but I will never stay down! I will never give up, but I will always get back up! Grateful, I hope you are resting this weekend. Most of the time, you can put bulbs in your refrigerator and plant them next year. Roger, I saw where you had called. I'm sorry I haven't called you back, but I'm making it okay, just so tired. Vick, you need to take a WEEK off. I sent grateful the link to the bulb planter I have (22.95, Home Depot), and I truly love mine. I'm glad you survived the trip, but, SERIOUSLY!, you have to rest now. You are the only person to be concerned with till you're much better. You're no good to anyone if you're sick or worse, so let things be till you have healed. You're in my prayers, friend. I tagged you on facebook, and I don't remember which of us took the pic, but it's glorious, with the background, and you are beautiful. Wish ya'll could all come back next spring when my bulbs start producing the great flowers. Fen, hope you're gonna help ole' Sunni get hers planted since she needs help! :gramps:
Off to show a house. I've been around more today since I slacked off a bit, but the day isn't over. Can't wait to see how Sunny's recruiting trip turns out. Any odds she'll bring home TWO!?:goodjob:

I can see Sun bringing home 2 puppies....I would so love to have a small Tink.....did anybody see on the news about the couple who rescued the St. Bernard from the pound right before they were going to put him down and then the dog returned the favor by saving them from an intruder in their house??? Dogs are so smart and very loyal to owners who take good care of them.

Have to run....Becky & Addy just got here for beef stew and hot rolls!
