Hey all. Have been busy all morning.
The weird thing about the guys at the store is they all know Hubs, and they know how our family is connected. One actually challenged JC about Tay, and in his slow, deep voice, JC told him to come on outside off the property and they'd talk. Nothing came of it, but I was proud of JC's restraint, not getting himself in trouble. May have to talk to Hubs and son about it. No worries about me, but Tay's different. There's a huge new food distributor opening here in Jan '12, lots of new job to be available. Just a thought, if anyone's looking. Car inspection, errands to run this morning, off for overnight at cabin and Jack's BD party tomorrow. Taking my MIL (she's probably already dressed and sitting in a chair by the door waiting!) She's called 1/2 dozen times to about the trip already. ((sigh)) Can't wait to see my babies.
Mish, when Bro's wife and he were dating, she walked into the bathroom where Daddy has just come out of the shower, all 6'5" of him standing naked in front of the sink. Bro said she never looked at him (bro) the same way again. :H
Atl, daughter woke me one night telling me ear hurt. It was oozing nasty stuff, poor baby. They gave her some really strong pain meds along with the antibiotic. She was terribly sick a lot before she grew up, had major kidney surgery, but was such a trooper.
Fen glad you got home safely. We enjoyed your trip too.
Gotta get busy. I'll be invaded again any time now. Later all.
PS: As I've gotten older I've developed an allergy to underwear. :H

Good morning-- well might as well be night since I have not slept in a couple of days-- stupid past brain injury rears its ugly head once again! Maybe it will correct itself tonight. Son feels so much better today -- but he will be on those strong antibiotics for 10 days. Last night we were laying in his bed and I was reading to him and he fell asleep in my arms which has not happened in years it seems. After school today we are going to the Hobby Lobby which to him is like saying we are going to a candy store-- he loves to look at all the Xmas stuff and "help" me choose ribbons and picks. Gotta get ready since all 4 trees go up the week after Thanksgiving (though that may be more difficult with hubs gone to Dallas that week). Mama -- hubs is a labor attorney and most of his clients are national with lots of locations-- if they have union activity or elections he is out there for most of the electionperiod training managers and doing communications-- the periods ate generally 4 to 6 weeks. When he is there his hours are just horrendous-- usually working around theclock. Alot of his clients are in manufacturing and they go 24 hours. Right now he is in SFO -- last night he did go to see the San Jose team play hockey with another client in that area. He loves his job (i used to do the same thing) so traveling doesnot seem to bother him. But we both could not do it with a six year old and I never liked it too much anyway.

Better go be useful. Lord I am tired (but not sleepy--aargh) fen -- I am about to go see Indian Rocky to get some gas . I am sure if he knew you and mrs fen he would love you!

Guess ya'll can tell I'm not an Obama fan, huh? :H
After a morning spent on speaker phone, yelling "REPRESENTATIVE" into the the speaker, I've cut over $200 off our monthly budget. I know I'm not the only one out there who hates phone prompts, but GAWD! they make me homicidal. Because of the setup AT&T rooked me into last February, which we couldn't use and they wouldn't cancel so we've had to pay for it, THIS Feb I'm dropping all my services with AT&T. Going with Vonage, and if I like it, I'll do the same at the cabin and I'll be able to get a computer there. Win-Win. Makes no sense to me, as I explained to everyone I spoke to (including Aunt Gertrude's first husband' second cousin) for them to lose an entire account over 30 bucks a month, but off course no one could do anything. Anyone use Vonage? Also dropping all my premium cable channels if I hook in to NetFlix. You like it, don't you MB? Then I'll cut another $200+ from our bills. Not a bad morning's work, huh?
Have to get dressed and run now. Lots of errands to do, appointments. Later all.

I love movies...the other night I watched Anne of the Thousand Days with Richard Burton and Geniveve (sp?) Bujold...He was SOOOOOO handsome

Awwwwwh, payback's a bitch! Look what my cheap heart found today to surprise Hubs with on Christmas morning, and freeze Sadist, the Jack Ass Russell Terrorist. Isn't she precious when she wears clothes (which cause her to freeze)?

Tay and JC see have been using my car, and I got miles from my home when I realized the (idiot) gas light was on. They left me with an empty car in a day & half. He BETTER get that job today! Got GAS!, Hubs screw-up meds, my refill (which shall be hidden), car Emission Testing, flu shot, fought off evil villains, grocery shopped (got TWO free mags there), put up groceries, saved money this morning, off to show a house in a minute. Missed the meeting with cousin who needs input from a woman about his recently 21-y-o daughter (catch it later) worked out travel arrangements for weekend, soothed Hubs, planned dinner for tonight. Still left is the MONTROUS mess of my house, but it'll be here when I get back. OH! And bought the rolling basketball goal Jack wants for his BD. You'll all be tortured with pics when I get back. AND, I learned to text. Texted Hubs about that feat. He texted back 'bout damn time' and I replied 'smartass'. He replied 'dumbass'. So the day has been good. Saved tons with my shopping, but it seems no one in son's family is acquainted with that activity. Got plenty of sandwich supplies so JC doesn't start looking at us funny. :H
I know, TMI. But what else do I have to do?
