ATL, have you tried Tea Tree Oil? Spent the morning at Mother's in the garden. I've sawn off so many cycad 'pups' that I can strike and sell at a swap meet once they're established. Between those and the climbing cactus I stand to make a nice little profit. Furthermore, I don't have to declare said earnings as it comes under the classification of 'hobby.'
Very broke at the moment...paid my land and water rates and the coffers are empty. However, am looking forward to Summer and more serious work in the garden. I still have to put down the 'atrificial turf' (fake lawn) in the front yard and down the sides of the house...never short of work to do around here, and trying to keep myself busy until 20th December when I can get my tabbies.
MB, still no parcel, but I'm not worried. It always seems that posting things overseas is faster than receiving them from overseas. Don't ask me why, it just does.
Ruby, MIL and the cabin seem incongruos, somehow, but I can see why she'd be sitting all ready by her packed bag. If I could come, I'd be ready weeks in advance...maybe I'll get there someday...
Fen, still hoping you and Mrs Fen might make it to OZ...perfect time of the year at the moment with Summer around the corner. Just saying.

Morning all. Bracing meself for the coming 36 hours of torture worse than waterboarding.
Rog, do NOT ignore that infection in your tooth. At the least you should be on an antibiotic. Untreated it can cause serious other infections, even death. I waited once and my dentist said I was hours away from being in a hospital on an IV. AND an antiB will calm down the pain in about 24 hours.ARE YOU MINDING ME????
Hope you all are going to have a good weekend. Mish, I've seen Tea Tree Oil available here. Why do you have you use fake turf? Does it have to do with watering, etc.?
I got a great offer from the electric co-op for the cabin for free installation of fiberoptics for the whole house. Then I can get internet there for 34.95/mo and buy a Magic Jack for 19.95 a year with unlimited calling. Whew! Will save me 50 bucks a month AND let me have Wi-Fi for the house. Of course my house work has been suffering since I've been on the phone saving money all day, so it's a Catch 22 again.
