    Michael, I am so glad that you and Lisa had an evening to yourselves, in a place where the folks respected your privacy. Please remember that your connection with each other is paramount...no outsiders should influence you and Lisa. You need to maintain a united front. Sounds like this date was just what the doctor ordered!:h

        I am celebrating my six months of being af tomorrow!
        I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

        Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

        Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

            Hi all
            Wow Drifty that is a big milestone.!!....yeah Rubes that atl traffic blah...it took us more than an hour to get through going to the game the other night...I dont miss those little kid bday parties either MB, but do miss the kids being little....Grateful I am sorry about your head. I had an epidural once and had a headache for days....Sun thank you for asking after Cuddley. Today she was waiting for me to open the coop door so she sould get out, thats the first time so guess she is feeling better...old bf did not call or come over this weekend or email so I cleaned up the yard for nothing hahah..gotta go do homework and go to work...b

              WOW, well thank you one and all for the "Nelz for Husband of the year campaign" I have taken the liberty of copying all the kind words into poster sized pics, and posting them all over the house for wifey to see...............:H


              Seriously, it is a very difficult situation, I just always try to empathize with whatever someone is suffering with, and help the best I can, as I would hope the other person would do for me. I think thats the golden rule or something

                I'm up, and have taken my anti-grouch pill this AM. However, I have warned the hoards to leave me alone, for just ONE day, please.
                Kell, I didn't forget you, love. It's just been so insane here lately. Hubs crept around like a mouse last night (I think he ate pork and beans from a can for dinner!), and phone has yet to ring today. I do have to get back to reality, and sort this mess of a house out. The dogs are chiding me now for food, so that's the first to deal with.
                All of us have so much going on in our lives right now. I try to make my complaining here at least funny, since it's not really that important. More a sign as I get older my tolerance for BS gets shorter. I think the creator of 'Maxine' is spying on me. I'll be back later to talk to you all.

                      Morning everyone! Congrats Drifty on 6 months - awesome!!
                      Nelz - I guess you can take down the "Modesty" posters huh?
                      Bird - I am so pleased that Cuddley is better - sorry I got her name wrong too - bad me! :H I really thought that she wasn't going to survive - SO pleased she is better! Bummer about old BF not turning up - and to not even call or anything - how rude!
                      Swannie - lovely to see you yesterday - how are things going? Wish you would pop in more....:l
                      Ruby - that was a wicked post! gosh - I am so glad that it was you and not me - I would have been a bumbling wreck on the floor by the end of all that ordeal. No wonder you are the way you are ROTFLMBO!!!
                      Tony - haven't seen much of you lately? How about a joke or two.....
                      Biz - so pleased that you and Lisa had such a nice evening - wonderful that the owner of the restaurant was so good too - awesome!! That must have really helped you both.                       Jan - your job does sound so interesting with all the stuff you have to deal with!!! Poor you. But at least it keeps you out of mischief! Love you.
                      Georgie - I hope the poison Ivy is abating a little - I know it can take a while. And to have a cold as well - yuck! Feel better soon.
                      Vicki - hope your hands are feeling better! Are you keeping your blood sugar under control?
                      Fen - how goes it with you? Are you going out to the cabin? What is going on out there these days? Is it snowed in yet?
                      Nora - you are MIA ......come on back - we miss you......
                      Hi Rog - how is the tooth feeling? When are you having the work done on it? Have the antibiotics stopped the pain?
                      Grateful - how about you - how is the headache? Has it gone yet? When they do an epidural in hospital for pregnant ladies, they tell them not to sit up for a certain length of time afterwards 'cos of a headache - could that be why you are getting one after yours? Maybe you should stay laying down after having the epi? I can't remember how long it is for afterwards but if it would stop the headache from happening it would be worth it....... ask your doctor - are you going to be having another one?

                      I am not sure if I have got everyone but if I haven't, I AM SO SORRY. Love and hugs,

                          SOOOOOooo Sorry I didn't give a HUGE congrats to Drifty on her epic achievement!!!! You know I've followed you, love, and I cheer for every day. Sometime you should do a post about how your life has changed over these months. It would be wonderful for everyone to see the differences. :hug:
