Just got home from MIL house. Dinner was good. Company was nice. Glad to be home though. My girls were not with us, they went to their boyfriend's families houses for dinner. Hubs teared up when our youngest left and it was just us and the dog. Ahhhhhh and so it begins...... The years we must start sharing our girls:upset:. Hope all had a good day. Goodnight all, :hGina

Hey all. Sorry for the absence, but will be quiet at least till next week. You all seem to do well without my big mouth, and I'm happy for that!!
Tony, thanks for the messaging, and Jan for the call. WAAAAaaaay to much going on to report, but I'm still here, up, cleaning, packing crap I don't need, (fed the beast - he's here till Sat AM), but our TG is Saturday. Kids all chose to come here, and Rick's GF has been cooking for days to bring stuff. Ex-B NEVER brought food here, not ever once. The 6-months I was either flat of my back or in a wheelchair, not one visit. The one month I was in rehab, not one meal for Hubs. So I'm flabbergasted.
Gotta run. Miles to go before I sleep. Have a wonderful, safe, sober, healthy (VICKI!!) weekend. And ya'll keep up the excellent banter. (Tony, that's CROCHET, not knitted, I'm pretty sure. Don't know where the poop goes. The wild geese at Hubs plant site hit every inappropriate target they can!!).

Dinner cooked, kitchen cleaned
Tur-Duc-Hen was ok...but all three of my boys loved it
legs and feet are killing me from standing on hardwood kitchen floors all day

Good EARLY morning, friends. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with quality family time. Like everyone else, I was busy, busy all day...on my feet way too much too! Now I am getting ready to go away for the weekend-but am looking forward to some REST time while I am gone. Will check in on Saturday hopefully. Again, I just want to tell you ALL how very blessed I am that you are in my life and I am so grateful that I have a place, a safe haven to come to to cry, vent, share, laugh and smile with all of you. I've never had this in my life....never. You guys know more about me than my own family-and I feel comfortable here and know that I am not judged-but accepted and loved unconditionally.

Ruby...please try to slow down...it sounds like your son has a wonderful girlfriend-let her help you. She obviously appreciates you and WANTS to do what she can to make your life a little easier. She sounds like a true gem.

Vicki....I hope you get lots of REST at your family's this weekend...let them take care of you. You just enjoy their company.

I just saw that Gabby Giffords helped serve Thanksgiving Dinner to our service men & women...she is a real trooper, that girl! What an inspiration for us all.
