Grey Lady. They are both beautiful and adorable, and will fill a big void for you, Rog. Has Sue started their sweaters (sorry, European friends say jumpers!!). I still think Ruby is a great name. It was my fav aunt's first name, and the name of the little long-haired Chi I bought Tay years ago, and she's SO much a part of the family now. (Ex-B went out in the yard and had a screaming, yelling, bitch-fit over Tay gettin her, even though I was paying). She's so much a part of them all now.
I had a terrible night with some renters, told them to move, and quickly. They were so dense about me telling them they broke though a fence, on to another property, and proceeded to make it a rutted, mud-packed mess riding 4-wheelers. She asked me where I thought they were supposed to ride, since they rented a place in the country to have the space. I'm sorry. What did I miss there?? And this is a grown man with children. God forgive me, but I told her it sounded like a personal problem, since I was not going to give them permission to destroy someone else's land for grown men to play! AAAAaaarrrgh. Her threat to move really tipped my hat, and I said 'Good. Do it soon'. Again I go back to people who've had no training in respect, responsibility. My heart goes out to their 2 little girls, but the woman is enabling a third adult child. Hard to explain, and I can't get my head around it. Have someone who wants the house right away, so we'll see.
Sorry for posting so much about it, but this issue has consumed me over the last 24 hours. I was going down to take pictures today of the damage they've done, but both Hubs and son put the quietus on me going alone. So I'll take Tay with me tomorrow morning to get photographic evidence, then going with MIL to get results of her radium treatment. I'm begging for help from Hub's half-brother and wife, both retired, but they don't want to upset her, and for some reason she wants me to always go. So, it shall be.FIL is having problems too, but I told Hubs I draw the line at that (for now). MIL has to go back Thursday morning, so guess who's going! I'm planning to run away (T, stop by here!) and will pick up Vick, Grate, Sun, on the way to Tick Hollow. Anyone else on board?? Side trips are fun!! Sorry, Mish. Can't swim that far, love, but I'd love to meet you. Swing by England and pick up our Swan.
It's just 6 and completely dark. Still have to feed all the 'mules' (our slang for the animals). Tink has found a grasshopper or some other foul beast she's cornered and barking at non-stop. I can't imagine an easy day, and in fact, I think these challenges keep me going. So, again, I apologize for the :soapbox: but that's how it goes these days. And I wouldn't know what to do without it all anymore. Love you all. Have lots of animals you can have, cheap!! OH, and I went into town and when I got home Powacket was sitting on my kitchen island. Never a dull minute. I'm off to find the grasshopper.
