Well, I don't know what to say. Everyone has left and I too, have to go out and walk the dog. I feel like we're deserting the barracks. Reccie - please hold down the fort til a few of us get back...

              :H:HReccie, you are so sweet.:h

Back now but not for long, I must say. Still haven't adjusted to DST. I need about a week.

I don't know if you've ever heard this song but it always makes me smile. I have been driving Mr. Stirly's Freelander over the past while and even tho' it's not that old - a 2000 model, it doesn't have a CD player - it has a cassette player. Bored to death by the Greek radio stations, I decided to unearth a few cassettes that I had recorded years and years ago. I had no idea what the songs were and was pleased to find that many of my favourite songs from years ago were on a couple of them. Yesterday morning, to my surprise, this song was one of them. I'm posting a link with lyrics. Jim Croce recorded some really great songs. Unfortunately, he died at the tender age of 30 in an airplane crash. You might enjoy his songs in the links that include the lyrics. Here's "Roller Derby Queen"...

You have to click on "show more" under the picture to see the lyrics.

I'm a bit tired as it's 11:40 p.m. regular time, not DST, so

              Wishing you all...

Well, I have to go and get some exercise myself, so the barracks are now officially unmanned.

If I can just keep it a nice steady pound or two a week I should be in my UK12 just before Christmas any more and I'll start looking haggard.
