hey zenny, have you opened up a pharmacy?!! that's something i've thought about doing- changing from vet to pharmacist, as i really love drugs .....umm, that didn't sound good did it?
i am sending you much support & will forward on any funny emails that might make you smile......
hey, going to get hubby an abyssinian kitty for Chrissy - but i'd really like a British Blue.....or that kitty in the apples youtube!!!!

i feel for you guys over there struggling with a crap economy. Australia is currently experiencing a good roll, & West Aus in partic due to the mining boom. it's not uncommon for peolple to be earning over $100K for fly in,fly out work. on the down side it sucks the labour forces from the rural sector, so we , as farmers, cannot find let alone afford, any labour, which we need.
if anyone wants to come to Oz & live on our farm & help, we'll give you a house & an earthy lifestyle!

Are you actually working there at the moment? I was thinking that if you were working it might help to steer you clear of the drink for at least part of the day. But yes, you do need to concentrate on yourself before things get completely out of hand.
God, I ask too many questions.

            Hi army peeps
May I barge in on your Fred?

Zen sorry to hear about your situation. Have you read the Vale book? I got mine the other day and am just starting it. I am struggling too and said tonight I'm not going to drink, my partner agreed, my mental torture commenced and then I read in Vale "the first step is to continue drinking till you finish reading this book" (which will be a few days for me at least). So now I thought, well, I've got permission to drink now

Still have an half an hour before I pick up my partner and I end this will-I, won't-I malarkey!!

            Thanks for allowing the intrusion

Sorry to hear that the pharmacy hasn't taken off so far, zenny. Maybe some advertising or marketing might help? Though I'm sure you've already considered that idea.

We obviously all want to see you do well and be in control of your drinking, but if you can't come here and say you've got a problem then where can you go? Nobody here is in a position to judge you for drinking (least of all me!), they only want to help, so go ahead and talk about it all you want when things get tough.

              Edit: morning molly

Good morning Beaglebutt,KTabbers, GG, Tippers, Expattty, Reccybear,Zens,Blondie,Molly and all those yet to drop by.

A big yoooooooooooo hooooooooooo to Blondie and a big ta very much to beags for getting us started.

Now then,KTabbers, what are we going to do with you. Please, pretty please let us help you.

Zens, like Molly says if you have to use the cigs for the time being then so be it. One thing at a time and at the moment I reckon getting a bit of AF time is a priority.

Have to be very, very quick this morning as I'm orff for to the dentist then I've got to nip into work after a quick nip into town, so I'll be back in a longish bit.
It could be worse, I could be filing.
                      AF since 7/7/2009

Hi everyone. Sounds like some of the Army are under attack big style:upset::upset:

I love the honesty and good sense here. For what it is worth I found the Vale book really useful. But the bottom line is that there is no magic bullet/cure.

Let us all stay close and be as honest as we can:l:l

Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Hi Reccie, thanks for being there when I needed a friend. Drunk posting seems such a good idea at the time.
Ok brushed my wine stained teeth and looked after my ablutions, next step is to pour out whatever poison is left in the house. I need to remember this moment in a weeks time when my soggy brain tells me its fine to have a drink. Feel free to admonish me if I even whisper such a thing.
                                I am done.
