Yeh cruncy sambos dont sound too appetising. I have had a good talk to myself and have my head back on the right way round. Speaking of food, off to stir fry some veg & quorn, DW is going out soon. Look after yourself Zenny.

Hi Stirly, how are you?You took JC and Mr. JC to a beach? And we didn't see any piccies?

Well, after getting some very valuable insight from Panda-man, I feel somewhat calmer and not so freaked out. Also, it looks like the PM (Prime Minister, not private message) is going to win the vote of confidence so the government will not collapse. Mind you, from what the members of Parliament of his party are saying, it is with the understanding that he will then resign as PM and leave his party to appoint a new PM. Rumour has it that Evangelos Venizelos, the present Minister of Finance, will be the new PM. Really don't know at this point and really can't predict what will happen. Just hope that we can avoid a depression.

Correct. I don't mind them celebrating Guy Fawkes night, but nowadays they have fireworks going off the weekend before and the weekend after as well. It scares the cr*p out of the animals sometimes.
Ah Reccie, firecrackers are the norm here for Easter Saturday when the Holy Light comes out of the church and is passed to all the people who have gathered around the church. Don't know if you are into religion, but it represents the resurrection of Christ. Anyway, they set off firecrackers which are worse than fireworks, IMHO, because they make these big, bangy noises from up close. The poor animals are terrified and every year, many dogs bolt from their yards or try to find whatever way they can to escape from their enclosures to run away from the noise. There are always packs of runaway dogs for weeks after Easter. Poor babies.

Zennie, good to see you posting. Rest as much as you can, lots of fluids and some chicken soup or something like that if you can manage it. Sending you :h.

Just had a quick read back and it seems things are looking up in the Army.
We had Chinese takaway and still have loads left over for tomorrow.
Loved the images of walking by the sea-JC is right-sounds like bliss!
Kids are already tucked in bed and I'm about to climb under the duvet myself.
Thank you all for your kind words of support. I managed to get off to work, have a good walk and the day ended up not so bad afterall.
                      See you all tomorrow.
