I think I would really miss it Reccie although I do like walking the woods as well. Funny thing is how deserted the beaches are here most of the time. I think all the fresh air and exercise is a big plus in keeping my head the right way on.

Reccie Mr A has not given up alcohol but cut down from 2 glasses to 1. Even then he forgets to drink it. No wonder he never understood my problem.

Stirly I am looking at booking next years summer holiday to Greece so that will boost the economy.

That sounds lovely. I was down past mile point on newcastle beach, wicklow head in front of me and bray head and the sugarloaf behind me. The sea to the left and the marshes to the right. Normally I go in the morning when the sun rises from the sea but this afternoon is was a beautiful sunset over the marsh and behind the mountains.

No need for a plumber. Happy dance going on here, Mr JC's mended the washer. There was a bit of a blockage in the inlet pipe.

Correct. I don't mind them celebrating Guy Fawkes night, but nowadays they have fireworks going off the weekend before and the weekend after as well. It scares the cr*p out of the animals sometimes.

Gots me all sorted and back in business again. Phew.
All you beach dwellers make me quite jealous!! Then again, I live a 5 minute walk from a lake with an admittedly small beach (for walking, anyways) but I can doodle around 50 acres of woods and get lost anytime (even in day light!)
