Hi Molly Mario and everyone. I only started back posting recently as i need the support again. Has anyone heard from Neart or Witchywoman? Last i heard of Witchy was she had gota date for gastric band and Neart was in a relationship.

Good morning Tippers, Reccybear. Expatty, Mrs A, KTabbers, marioooooooo, Molly, Firefoz, Pingu and all those yet to drop by

Woken up to a cacophony of ice scraping in the street. Had a hard frost last night on the Costa del Tyne.

I used to bite my nails for years and then about 6 years ago I got a broken tooth and was too afraid to go to the dentist. Couldn't bite them at all then and once I started playing around with nail varnish there was no going back.

Oh and I did eventually get my tooth fixed.

well I have found some purple varnish which is uber cool and just goes with everything else I own so I have put that on in the hope it will persuade me not to chew them

I have bitten them since I was a little girl, and my kids do the same, especially Morgan who is extremely anxious

I have told Lucy to help me every time she sees me trying to chew them!!!!

Being told off by a 6 yr old is enough to make me think twice!!!

morning all, I used to pick and chew my nails until I told my best friend to punch me everytime she caught me doing it... yeah - my arm was pretty blue but my nails are good these days xD Gonna paint 'em red tonight in honour of the fabulous red hot chili peppers who I'm seeing in ooh 9 hours or so

Molly so sorry to hear about your marital stuff. Could he just be so hurt that it this is a strategy to kick you up the bum??It is very hard to mind read though.

Talking of nails I am having a manicure and pedicure tomorrow before i fly to Dubai. I am using those groupon vouchers. The manicure/pedicure woman is in for a shock with my black and bruised toenails.

went into town to take car for its MOT

got 2 Christmas presents bought, some sparkly stick ons for nails (when they grow), clarinet reeds and had my eyebrows threaded

And my car passed for the first time in years!

Hey Guys - only have a sec to pop in. Hope everyone is well. Three weeks ago I lost one of our very good friends to breast cancer. Just Friday her husband succumbed to cancer as well. I loved them both very much and am just heartbroken. Don't mean to be a downer, I am just very sad and sick of all these awesome people being stricken down by this goddamned disease. Not gonna drink but am just worn out from sadness. Any positive vibes sent my way would be appreciated. Love you guys.

So sorry .It put everything into perspective. At least we can fight our disease with a good chance of beating it.
