Back to winter again - a max of 17C forecast for Cape Town. And just in case anyone tells me that 17C IS summer weather, this is the southern tip of Africa - it's supposed to be 10 degrees warmer at this time of year

I've just had a read back of yesterday's thread.
Congrats again JC!:l I'm almost at the weight I want to be too but now I have to firm things up. Mainly the tummy. I'm not a "Jim" type of person but I think I could enjoy some kind of stretching or yoga class.
Sending hugs your way Waggers :l. And I can understand about being a tired working mum. And the big bowl of comforting pasta (usually with a cream sauce!).
Gorgeous photos Stirly! Maybe we could do a MWO meetup in Greece!!!! On that island where they don't have cars.
And hello to everyone I haven't mentioned! It's been a busy week but we have a long weekend. As Friday is l'armistice de 1918. Horrible war.

Good morning Tip Tawmy Expat and all to follow. Its raining here but mild tempertures for this time of year here. Weather is weird we have had have mild sunny days, cold and wind rain all seasons since October up to now. Its true you can't rely on the weather in Ireland. Have to bring my 2 cats to the vet this evening for checkup and their first vaccinations. Hope the rain clears and we don't have to wait too long. Day 8 for me and my first week in its the weekends and sometimes are tough but i just have to plan things and stay busy. Have a good day. Going get more coffee :wavin::cupajoe::catroll:

Funny how we're almost never content with our weather. 17C here right now - a lovely fall day. Partly cloudy skies and unfortunately no chance of rain. We really need some.

As for the meet up in Greece, I just found out yesterday that another member of the Army is planning to vacation on a Greek island next summer and we're going to meet at the Athens airport between flights into Greece and off to the island or vice versa. I'm thrilled to bits. It won't be the island of Hydra but it will be a mini meet-up. inkele:

Well KTAB, I have been doing well - had a couple of really minor slip ups while out with friends but thankfully they didn't lead to week long binges, but still was disappointed in my lack of resolve against peer pressure!
