Busy thread this morning, Molly that's great news I am really pleased for you. Tips if you can beat the booze you can beat anything I reckon plus you have the added bonus of knowing you can stop an addiction in it's tracks, you have already done it. Reccie I can already see changes in you over the past number of weeks, I an convinced you are one of those peope who will finally break the cycle and never look back. Can you imagine how good that wil be? Expat I agree with Molly in regard to the young ones, like most things we don't realise it till it's gone. I wont wake Mario. JC pour us a cup will ya I ain't put the caffeine machine on yet.

Honestly Reccybear, this is the best thing I have ever done in my life. I love the phrase alcohol free, because that's just what it means. We're free from alcohol.

The world is now my lobster. Just a little over 2 short years ago I would never have dreamt of entering a room full of strangers but I'm about to do that very thing this morning when I start my new computer class. Sure I'm a wee bit nervous but the over riding feeling is one of quite excited.

Yep, its great to see people like you and tips and expatty and others getting on with your lives. You're living as opposed to just being alive. And yeah, entering a room full of strangers isn't my cup of tea either. I get anxious going into the waiting room at the doctor's.

I am driving around (albeit locally) but I cannot believe the difference in my life, I am loving the freedom! Should have done it years ago.

Still AF and SF and loving it. Enjoying the spiritual life and going to classes etc. Set myself up with a little project writing personalised poems for people for special occasions, I am only starting out but have had a few orders.

Kids are doing well and getting big and Rob is trying his best to be AF.

well I only have my provisional license Reccy! My full license is a way off lol....

I have to say that learning to drive was the single most difficult thing I have ever done bar NONE....I am still a bit shite at it actually but I will get there eventually!

Feckin knew you could learn to drive Oney, you can do anything you set your mind to. Great to hear Rob is getting his act together, it will make such difference I reckon. Good luck on the new project, it sounds interesting.
Family is good, son has moved out for college so it's a bit empty nest here. Back to having major money problems again which is a huge strain on staying sober, but something I am managing to do without white knucking it.
