BBC Sport - Newcastle rename St James' Park the Sports Direct Arena

    Hi Oney.
Owners sold their soul to the devil some things should be sacra sanct. Bet everyone still calls it St James though. Bit like lansdowne road here. Hmm wonder if I renamed my house.......

Well I wouldn't say i am driving lol, more like pointing the car in the right direction with a few little jerks along the way but very very happy being able to do school runs and not carry groceries home on the buggy..it's wonderful! I hold my key in the air when I go into a shop as if to say.."look, I drive ya know"....sooooooooooooooooo silly!

I cannot imagine empty nest syndrome, my house is so busy but it must be strange for you. I hear ya on the money thing........I no longer mind kids and am scraping pennies together.

So glad you are managing to stay sober, sometimes it is very hard when you are under a lot of strain x

Nothing silly about being proud of your achievements, always loved your can do attitude and the fact you don't just talk the talk. Ok gotta run, thanks for brightening up my day. Later folks.

              Good morning Army!!

How lovely to log in here and see such happy and positive posts. Makes my heart sing!!

Sorry (again) I've been missing round here - just had to 'prioritize' and hubs and kids had to be No.1. Finally after a great deal of tears and angst, hubs and I are ok. He sort of said 'can't live with me, can't live without me' - and I think he knows this time is different for me. Now I know what I have to loose, and I very nearly did. I feel absolutely emotionally drained, but so relieved that I haven't lost the most important thing in my life.
Thanks everyone here over the last 3 weeks for the wonderful support I got (this sounds like an Oscar speech), there were dark days and nights when I didn't have a sinner in the world except the kindness and care that I got here:thanks:Molly, I am just so happy for you. Wonderful that you're getting things straightened out with your family.

Not sure when the titrating will end, but I hope to be AF come the beginning of the New Year. I'm nearly half-way there. Might have one last blowout on New Year's Eve. Yes, I am looking forward to the all out AF stage, cos then I can get on with my life. I'm tired of wasting it and being unhappy.Reccie - fantastic news. You're making progress and that is so good to hear. There are many, many happy days waiting to happen. And you'll be out there enjoying them instead of stuck inside with AL. :goodjob:
mollyka;1206214 wrote: That's brilliant Reccie, after the debacle with 'moderating' I so understand that you're looking forward to the all out bit. I used to read the 'olbies' round the threads saying what a relief it was to knock the bugger out of the picture altogether, and tbh, I thought it was a touch of brainwashing (I have to do this, so I'll pretend it's great sort of thing). It is a major relief - no 'maybe's' anymore. In the words of MJ 'THIS IS IT' --- this is life, and it's great, all the financial woes etc. are nothing, and yep, I reckon I could climb Kilimanjaro (have I the right mountain??) at the mo. Anything is now possible.
              Ditto to what Molly said..

Honestly Reccybear, this is the best thing I have ever done in my life. I love the phrase alcohol free
, because that's just what it means. We're free from alcohol.

The world is now my lobster. Just a little over 2 short years ago I would never have dreamt of entering a room full of strangers but I'm about to do that very thing this morning when I start my new computer class. Sure I'm a wee bit nervous but the over riding feeling is one of quite excited.
And excited you should be. You never know what the outcome of these classes could be. Well be waiting to hear how things went.

All good here thanks for asking Ktab.

I am driving around (albeit locally) but I cannot believe the difference in my life, I am loving the freedom! Should have done it years ago.

Still AF and SF and loving it. Enjoying the spiritual life and going to classes etc. Set myself up with a little project writing personalised poems for people for special occasions, I am only starting out but have had a few orders.

Kids are doing well and getting big and Rob is trying his best to be AF.

Hope you and your son and Mrs Ktab are well xxx
And yet more good news. Hiya Oney!!

Thanks for asking after me Recluse. I do think the pilot may have been drinking as he thanked us for being on an easyjet flight (were with Emirates).
Off to the pool for a little swim.
              have a great day Army
Oh Mrs. A - you gave me quite the chuckle with that comment about the pilot. Thank goodness he flew you to the right city.

              Hope you all

In other news today I went to my computer course and the whole building and the cafe next door were closed because of burst water main. Never mind there's always next week.

So I went and did a little light shopping and bought the most gorgeous little dress for Mr JC's work baby.

Oh and some jeans size UK12. Wish me luck getting the zip up.
