Morning army!

Happy weekend and all that!

I'm up at my mum's. She's been without Internet access since Monday so I had to drive up and have a look at the problem. The router had got itself all discombobulated. Anyway, I reset it to factory default and then configured it and it worked, so my mum's over the moon. Some people are easy to please!

Poppy, on the other hand, is a bit miffed cos she's away from home and she doesn't get on with my mother's cat, Lillemis (that's Danish for "little cat").

Not got anything much planned for today apart from to go for a walk along the towpath of the nearby River Severn and eat my mother's delicious food, but not overeat it, if you get my drift. Got my new scales from Amazon today and I'm a whole stone overweight. Definitely not happy about that at all. :upset:Anyway, the excess weight is coming off, and I am unanimous in that!

Might wander off and have a night nap shortly. Probably return home this evening.

It's great that you can still keep in touch with us when you're so far away :goodjob:.

I have fond memories of the River Severn. When I was at school in my teens, I used to row up and down the river in a single scull. It was a fantastic experience and as soon as I'm properly sober I'm hoping to move to somewhere where there's a lake or a river where I can take the up sport again.

I have my nose pressed to the window waiting for a delivery from DHL. I finally broke down and bought my daughter some UGG boots-it's her birthday today and she's been begging for the boots for over two years now. Like you-I used an internet site so we got a pretty good price. Just praying they make it here this morning!

It's starting to look quite nice out-pink clouds and blue sky. JC-glad your son and gf made the plane. Hope they have a lovely weekend here. If I knew they were coming sooner-I could have met them at the airport with pug dog!:H

Oohhh...did I tell you, I used to look after DHL's web servers in Prague??? Every time they stopped working I got a phone call in the middle of the night and I was supposed to do sumthink about it! :upset::upset::upset:
