      Purchase order.

      It is a record of their issuing an order for goods or services. Then they sign the delivery docket and you have a written record, should there be an issue with your getting paid down the line.
      Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

        The original offer is through e-mail and when it is agreed to then we fax them the offer and they return it with the company stamp and the signature of the person ordering so it's like a purchase order. If they don't make a down payment following the order, then it's invalid. The down payment is 30% which means close to 1000 euro in this case, and the agreement is for a post-dated cheque for the rest of the amount on delivery. I know it sounds a bit chancy but that's the way things are done here. Thank you for your suggestions.

                          Glad it wasn't just me who was confused! I didn't know what was going on.

                          I made a start on the shopping and it was horrible. Town was busy, queues everywhere, yuk I hate it. Going to revert to Amazon for as much as I can.

                          It's enough to drive a girl to chocolate!

                              Evening All ,

                              Ooh I did enjoy that bit of a lurk looking for all the old bumped up threads.

                              General wavings and yoooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo's to everybody.

                              I got me accreditation thingy printed off gave it to boss woman who was running the course.

                              My brain is about to explode with facts and figures and I now have to intervene 3 real life people. The fact I only work Wednesday afternoons may make that a trifle challenging. So I may have to hang around night club doors and pounce on people waving me unit calculator and a variety of leaflets......................or I could make it up.
                              It could be worse, I could be filing.

                                Friday 18th November Army Thread

                                Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you all. Today was dress down day at my youngest's school. You pay $1 and they get to wear what they want and the money is donated to buying food for hungry familyies at Thanksgiving. So my little woman came downstairs wearing her brand new beautiful Thanksgiving dress, headband...and cowboy boots of course. The apple does not fall far from the tree apparently....lol!!
