    Army thread 19th November

    Good morning guys!
I know Ive been awol for a bit so sorry about that.
My new work schedule can be a bit punishing. Long hours, very challenging but also satisfying. For the first time in years, I really feel as if Im doing something useful, productive and learning loads. AND supporting myself in the process. The pay isnt great, but its going to get better and I know its enough to keep myself afloat whatever happens. So I am happy.
My next task is to improve my eating habits in my new routine. I am struggling to cook for myself and just end up snacking. Thats not good so my next challenge is to get the sweet stuff out of my life and look after my diet better.
I havent had the time to keep up with the thread much lately, but I did see that Mollers went through hell with hubs, really glad you sorted that girl :l
I hope everyone else is chipper?

        Good morning starty and expatty

You're up very early starty. I was thinking about you not 20 minutes ago and I thought to myself that you're probably too busy with work to have time to post here anymore. Good to see you though!

You're up early too expatty, considering it's Saturday. Have you got any plans for the weekend?

Hiya zenny, didn't see you there, got your PM, thanks.

Took me a minute to realise you meant BJ's snoring, not yours!

            Hello Reccie and Zenners
Yeppers-up early on a Saturday drinking coffee. I've already walked pug dog. I guess my body is just set to the the weekly clock. So up I am.
I've been reading back on the 1st December 2010 thread. :H It's kinda of nice that it "popped" up again. Last year it was absolutely freezing and snowy at this time. I'm on there complaining about walking pug dog through icy slush. And Tips complaining about the traffic. Yes, some things don't change! :H

Have you basically come to the conclusion that the pharmacy won't take off even if you give it time zenny? How do you see its future?

Sorry... I had to go for a pee and x-posted... *blush*

I know... a year passed and its, like, WTF did THAT go?!
                :H
Yum-you are making me hungry talking about Thanksgiving Zenners. When we lived in New Orleans, we were invited to some friends houses a few times. The food was gorgeous. All the classic Thanks giving fare but it being New Orleans-they also had all kinds of yummy Cajun dishes like creole "dirty rice", oyster dressing, crawfish stuffing... drool.

How did you get to the 1st December 2010 thread, expatty? Not sure if I was even in the army then as I joined MWO in November.

I think a spammer pulled it up Reccie. Lots of old threads started appearing yesterday.

What about offering catering services? You're obviously a good cook and you've got your SUV so you would be able to deliver to wherever. Just a suggestion.

                              Good morning, Army

Great to see you Starty :l:l:l

I've been on pool duty and watering the garden early. It's going to be around 34C today. Can't let the
plants suffer too much. Mrs. T is on a housecleaning mission - clearing up all the stuff that seems to spread and stray out of their allocated places. I'm guilty on that score. You should see the spectacle when I go in search of a screwdriver or spanner. Not that it happens often, of course.

Ugh... I also need to make a start on sanding and treating the patio furniture. I'll see if a trip to the hardware store to buy some stuff will be enough to placate Mrs. T.
                              I'll do whatever it takes
