    Army Thread 20th November

Oh, I used to read Flaubert too, jackie. Can't find Madame Bovary on the bookshelf, but I'm sure I've read it. I also liked Zola and Balzac and Maupassant. Any 19th century European stuff really. I think there was something about the simplicity of life back then that appealed to me. People lived much closer to the soil in those days.

Not allowed in the JC house too much fat content but I'll go into deprivation mode if I don't get a good dose of Stilton at Christmas.

I should be at target by then, but I'll still be going every week for the craic and to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Ooh and it's free once you've hit target as long as you don't gain or loose 3llbs either way.

That's brilliant Jackie - both that you'll have reached your target weight and that SW will be free.

Ok, I'm off out to buy some eggs to make egg-fried rice for dinner. I think this will be the first time for several years that I've come out of a grocery store without clutching a bottle of whisky in my hands:shocked:.

I bet you'll maintain your weight swimmingly, just as you've lost it on an even level, every week.:goodjob:
