Morning all, sorry couldnt get on yesterday, pesky electrics kept fusing and it was very traumatic specially for Mr S cos he had to keep climbing the steps to redo the fuses in the garage in the dark! He was even more bad-tempered than usual :H

Cudn't charge up me lappy or anything. Fortunately No1 daughter now going out wiv electrician and he sorted us out.

Glad everyone is ok. Trillions of congrats Nanny, what lovely news.

Catch you later, I'm going to walk the dog, then out for lunch with friends ...its a hard life

Jackie that's about right cos it takes a few days to take full effect, so if you're having it today, I should think you'll be feeling a bit off by Friday night and you'll need to rest all day on Saturday

I love it!It was 2C with a somewhat weak sun when I got up just before 8 a.m. Right now it says 12C with a few whispy clouds. Well I missed his 30th. I had a stinking cold.

I missed his 40th, I'd done all the food but had such a stinking hangover that Mr JC just took the food over while I lay on the settee dying the death that only a good alkie knows.

So he's probably not really expecting me on Saturday.

:hallo: Army

Lunchtime check-in. Quite a nice day to be outside - mostly sunny and around 23C. I'm sitting on a bench under some trees, deciding what to have for lunch (if anything). My 4 fruits were eaten a few hours ago already. This multiple daily meals thingy takes some doing. Some colleagues have 6 meals a day - dunno how they do it.

Hi Tipp and everyone else before me .
Hows is everyone here doing?
I dont spend much time on the net now . After i stopped drinking i also got a sort of "lazy" for want of a better word as i noticed i always rewarded my hard days work with drinking , so a while back i got out of that rut and back to the way i was with out the drinking.
when i do come on i try to read back a bit , i cant believe FF is gone it must be hard on his family as he had lost a brother this year also.
I'm in the same boat as Ex Pat here 2 sick kids some virus doing the rounds at school.
Molly you need to watch out for the extra costs they will charge you , my allowance is 25 a month i went over by one and a half and was charged over 100 Euro , really not worth it.

OMG the doctor was so nice, spent loads of time just listening and yeah she really got it, talked coherently and sensibly about alcohol, gave me some more pills to stop me going insane, and made an appointment for me in 3 weeks because "she wanted me to feel I was being supported".
Unlike the last bitch who left me in tears every time and told me to come back in 6 months....

my faith in doctors has been restored. Some of them actually do give a shit about the person they see....

apart from that been out for lunch and I;m freeeezzzzing still. Have to teach here in about an hour, need to warm up first. Kettle on for hot chocolate...

The doc was awesome, I can't believe how kind she was when the last 8 months I have felt literally crapped on and made to feel like a freak

swimming in a mo, another tiresome activity on a night too cold to venture outside

then later I am playing Mahler and I am so freaking excited, it is my all time favourite, Mahler 2nd Symphony, I have been waiting a long time for this.........
