Just had a look, no ice here, just cold...I should be ok today.
I think if there is bad ice this year, I won't be driving in it. I have not got the experience to control the car in those conditions and it would not be fair on other drivers I think. I shall stay put."It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"

morning all
good rehearsal last night, did LMAO at people trying to find Mahler on utube.....
spent quite a bit of the rehearsal on my phone on farcebook talking about nose piercings but that's quite normal for me, one ear on the music and another eye on failbook LOL
meditation this morning, I am so tired I may fall asleep!
School has friggininset today but I figured between my boy and his friend they can't get up to much trouble while I pop out for an hour to sit quietlyI have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way

Thank you xxxYou're welcome for the advice. I learned to drive on snowy roads but ice is different. The car basically does what it wants to unless they've sanded and salted the roads really well. And don't worry what other people expect - you know your own limitations and what you're capable of doing.

Back from the shop. Just wanted to offer my congratulations to Mr and Mrs JC on their anniversary.
Oney, my tuppenceworth.....even very experienced drivers struggle with icy roads, so you're bound to find it difficult. If conditions are icy, keep off the road unless the journey is absolutely essential. Preferably don't take the kids with you. Drive slowly in low gear and keep a much greater distance from the car in front than you normally would so that you give yourself plenty of time to stop.
Stirly - thanks for the advice re food - I'm eating rabbit food too! And for the advice re knees - I know it's got to be something to do with footwear. I'll ask Mrs A once she's had a chance to get used to being at home again.
Good morning to everyone else
Edit: Ohh, that was a very very Xpost.
