Inchy, it's an unfortunate fact that the ratio of the number of pensioners to the number of people of working age can only increase, meaning that retirement ages have to go up and, eventually, the real value of pensions will have to fall. So I'm afraid it's people of your generation who will get clobbered the most because you are likely to have to work for longer and then probably you'll end up with a smaller pension. But at least forewarned is forearmed. You have plenty of time to make your own provision for your retirement.

Well you know me...and my past history with the ex..

I honest cannot have anything to do with any man....no matter how nice, I always shy away in the end..

I'm quite happy with my little comfort zone and life as it is....

okies..here we go..

the day centre that ollie goes to in the afternoon..there's a girl that goes on the bus same time with ollie..
as you know they are all from families with probs etc...I met the mother, sometimes we would walk back after the kids left and she told me a bit about her daughter and the father...
he's in jail and the girls outta control...coz of all she'd seen...
bit like ollie but he's much better now..

anyway a couple of weeks ago the boyfriend/husband was waiting for the girl...so we chatted..which is normal...well I thought so anyway, the bus picks them up in front of my house, and I pointed out which was mine..

never thought nothing of it...

next day after he took her on the bus, then about 10/20mins after my door rang..and tap-tap....knocking I won't open my door to nobody as bonnie has a key and anybody I know would call me first...!

the next day the same.... I had a feeling it was him but didn't say nothing just let my dogs woof-woof and I did'nt make a noise or open the door....

when I got ollie that niht he asked me why didn't I answer the door..I told him I didn't know what he was talking about...I wasn't there, and WHY would he be knocking at my door WHAT did he want.....

gonna do a part 2 as this is gonna be long....but I dodn't like this at all.....and don't need it at all...!

Part two....

2nd part...as it too much for one post...will become boring and confusing..!

anyway I'd told him to not disturb me and that I'm NOT interested in knowing him apart from polite "hello's" when we are waiting to send or pick up the children..
he has his wife/girfriend and I know her and am do not like that he should be making aproaches or coming to my house...he should respect that and her...

Today when I took Ollie to the bus, he was there waiting wiith the girl....I have tried to sperate ollie from the girl anyway, as she's not good influence for ollie....so we sat away along the wall waiting...

but when they went he started following me and walked in front of me and started to walk up my stairway...
I asked him "where do you think you're going, you don't live here, go away"....

he persisted so I said well Im not going home now anyway so go away, I'm going this way..
he followed me and I told him to go away, I went to a bar in front, had a coffee and waited for him to go.

I went home and again 20mins after ringing my door.....then tap-tap....

shite I've become a prisoner in my own house again.....! I honest don't need this.....

I called Bonnie and told her, but she was bang in the middle of cooking so couldn't talk long, I asked her what should I do? should I tell the girlfriend/wife...coz I don't wanna hurt her..

fuck sake, gone back several years now, having to look over my shoulder.......

stupid thing is..I'm 52yrs old...shit..he can only be 30 if that, fit young etc......I'm not being racist, but don't know if it has anything to do with it.. they are black, but from carribian or cuban...so I dunno ...different mentality...I don't the fuck know...

all I know is I don't feel safe...and don't like this feeling...

Not a good situation jan. I realise you were asking for input from the ladies, but here's my thoughts. You could speak to the girl's mother as a first step. If that doesn't have the desired effect, threaten to go to the police and if that doesn't work go to the police. It would probably be a good idea to keep a written record of each "encounter" with the day, the time, and what actually happened. Sorry you're going through this - I'm the same when it comes to opening the door to unexpected callers - I never open it.
