    Army Thread Wednesday 30th November

    Helllllllllooooooooooow Army!

Real quick check-in... must run out again.

Went out to do critter chores both at home and for globe trotting neighbours with the intention of hunting down some dinner and go to the post office to pick up a parcel (thank you RC - I think!) after.

Now, leaving the parcel notice at home was predictable.
Arriving at the store, scoring an awesome parking spot was unexpected.
Finding I left my wallet at home - priceless.

    *sigh*

Inchy - I don't have any advice to give you but I think that what Oney said may be something to think about. Anyway, since the pills were prescribed by his doctor, he probably needs them. Why don't you wait a while and see how things go. They could help him a lot. Don't know why you're upset but being upset won't help either you or him so try to step back and look at things a little better and try to find the reason. Especially since you convinced him to go see the doctor. Maybe Oney is right - you know he needs the medication but you're afraid of it. Or perhaps you're afraid that he will change with the medication. Is he dependent on you for company or does he have his own friends that he hangs out with when you're not with him? If the depression lifts, would he be more likely to get out and about and meet new people? Just asking a couple of things that came to mind. It's hard sometimes trying to figure out why we feel the way we do. I'm way, way older than you and still there are times when I can't understand my reaction to something.

        Oh, and :wavin: Army!!!

Incheroo, hun. Doctors these days are really up to speed about depression and anxiety these days amongst the under 25s. I know my daughter was treated very quickly with counselling when she saw her GP and luckily didn't need antidepressants.

That happened to me once actually, I was on my way to the store when I was accosted by Red Indians who stole my bag and my shoes, I had to continue to the store barefoot and passed 3 dead people on the way (heart attack, hit by lightning and murdered with a large spatula), Mama must have been shining down on me because along came the Local Sherriff who happened to like my home cookin so much that he darn there gave me a good ride all the way to the store....I forgot one of the items after all that commotion....ahh just one day in my life...busy busy busy...sigh.

Actually Daddy made me a soap box once, How I loved it.......It had written in big red letter's "ONEY'S SOAP BOX". I loved standing on it, many of my friends came from miles around to hear me talking..

Daddy was so proud. He said he had never seen one little girl git so much use out of that darn box.....

When I growed too big and broke it, he promised me he would build a bigger one....but the pox took him before he went to the mill...

He never did make me that box but there is one in my heart....
