Underoos and Revered International Guests - December 2011

Beags - if he is into reading then I would recommend this series

Young Bond - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I bought the first one for Mr B's boy last xmas and he loved it so much that he saved to get the rest of the series.

All depends on his interests though!

Yikes! I even had to visit the folk in the Army 'cause it feels like I'm walking around a museum at midnight. On my own. Scary!

HP - can't help with the white. I use slaked lime.

Made an appoinkment to have my eyelashes thinned out on Friday. Thought I'd combine that with having my first professional haircut in ... erm .... *&^ years. I shall be stunning. Dog, life's easy when you're not on the hunt!

TF - you are stunning with or without the haircut. And with or without the eyelashes.

Cheeses twice, Missy ... don't encourage him. Ever since I was told I was only nice to blokes or fellow Undies, I've made it a point to be as unapproachable and caustic as I can be ... don't blow my cover ... :H :H :H

                    Just reading back..
Gee Tawn, never rains but it pours eh? or in your case doesn?t. I thought you were getting a bit of rain there.

Talking of utes not working the bloke who I organised to do a heap of work at Wingello had a piston blow up on his truck? so will have probs clearing the rubbish he?s going to create. But I have a couple of volunteers coming on Friday and Sat to help plant and do a little bit of track creation.

Dry rot is a real pain, and expensive. What I have at the moment is dead rat somewhere. Mr Rags will have to crawl under house to try to track it. Meanwhile I have suggested that to get the buggers out of nesting in the heating ducting, we open all the doors and windows, turn the heating on full blast, and go out for a couple and do it once a week throughout summer. The theory being they?ll get hot and look for somewhere cooler to live. But I have a feeling there?s a basic flaw in that theory.

Aren?t those kangas so beautiful. Thanks for the pic Tawn

Bridge, I fortunately didn do latin? I was a French and german gel. Hated French. Wish now I?d paid attention in class.

                        !

You know ... I have such thick, long, luxurious lashes - I have to plait them before going to sleep. It's such a bother.
I had to go to the RTA for a photo licence to-day, and not only wasn't I not allowed to smile for the photo, they made me bobby pin my luxuriantly lengthy eyelashes to my hair .
But I was defiant, I did my Moaning Lisa smile...

Oh and another blow for me and technology. Went to Telstra shop to-day.... gonna bite the bullet and get a wait for it... Samsung Galaxy 11.... As Missy and Happs have seen my phone, they'll understand this huge technological bound. BUT, BUT BUT.... you wouldn't believe it.... yesty I went to Joycies and bought a pre paid wi fi thingy for my computer so I can stay in touch with ewe when I'm not home, only to have nice young Telstra man say I can plug phone into computer and use it ... so now I have to take dangle thing back to Joycies and ask for refund.

And will be off air from tomorrow till Sunday as going to Wingello which has no reception anyway, and also won't get my new phone till next week.

Finally, have to belt back home Satday as having guests for bbq, Am going to make Tawns chiko sausage rolls. And dukkha cruste baby lamb chops, and prawns marinated in something I'll make up on the day, and sort of tortillas with marinated chicken strips a la Kitchen Godess last night on tv. And some rice paper rolls of which I am very proud.

Going to try to do all that in 2 hours between time I'll get home till when guesties arrive. Thankfully Mr Rags will be there to help.m
You're all invited to join in.

BTW whose house is the old lighthouse near Watsons Bay thet Tawn bought? Is it Reggies? I was hoping we could get invited there and have NY eve party there and watch the fireworks.
