Underoos and Revered International Guests - December 2011

[QUOTE=Miss Behaving;1222153]I quite like doing them slowly Rags. In fact I prefer it!! Mr B's boy and I had it down to perfection a few years ago - it would take us a few days of the school holidays to do a 1000 piece jigsaw, and during that time we would chat about inconsequential things and just have a nice time. QUOTE]

Missy that sounds lovely...its the side by side doing things with my locusts I love too...just skyped MIL to see if she'd felt the earthquake but a no from her...

Got the fidgets today even though I've got a ton of work, I will really have to settle soon and get stuck into it.

Heard this on the radio on the way with dogs sample:

Japan whaling fleet accused of using tsunami disaster funds | Environment | guardian.co.uk

    Disgusting...

Then about a year ago, he suddenly got really smart and finished a jigsaw overnight. I was so disappointed :H:H

Love your shrine space. Getting one for myself is on my list of the 365 things I want to do in my 50th year!! (It will probably be a lot smaller than yours though!)
I think I do jigsaws as a test of patience. Like, I must enjoy the frustration of it all and I get great satisfaction of getting bits to go together without resorting to scissors! My mind doesn't work in that geometric sort of way. Mr rags and I have had several lovely evenings sitting up doing this. But I lose to temptation to sit and do some in the daytime when I should be fixing house for Sat bbq. I now am behind schedule as have to go to Wingello tonight and house not cleaned so off my bum in a minute and get stuck into it.

And yes, I would be disappointed if I got a jigsaw completed in an evening .... or even three.

Here it is Missy. We try to be a bit methodical and separate out colours. Then work a section at a time... Hey what's your phone number? I can ring you up and ask where to put a piece if I get stuck. (I can imagine your response). Note Bostik. And scissors.

Made it myself. Made about 30 of them when I had a little meditation group a few years ago. Gave them all away except for that one. You want one? I can make one but it would take a while. I use cotton samples from Auscott and they're at St Leonards near SBS . $30 a potato bag full of cotton from our Darling Murray destroyers. Now why did I include all that superfluous information...

I heard that too about Japan. And ABC reported yesterday the fleet is getting subsidised to the tune of over $28 million. Bastards. Yet I love what I've seen of the country, and the few people I've met are so friendly, courteous and helpful. (My dad would disown me if he were alive to hear me say that).

Rags - what is the manufacturer of that jigsaw? I want to take one away on holiday with is, but they make the boxes so friggin big that it is not practical. That box looks like a much better size!!
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Want me to post one over to you?? I can send it over 5 unmatched pieces at a time. I can get one and post it today if you'd like. That is if the tables are stillout at the mall.
I have to go past there this arvo, and there's a PO in the mall.
