nah - the flooding is an insidious quiet thing, stealing in on cat's paws, just slowly slowly with wet tendrils creeping up the land.
but the rain did keep me awake at nights!
people might like the sound of rain on a tin roof but it HAMMERED! not very romantic at all ( did you know i just spelled that "ronmantic', as in ron101......where ARE bridgee & g-bloke?- that was a joke amongst themselves & tawns i think).
y'know happs, i'm in the 5' 6" bracket so unnerstand wot you're on about height wise.
too tall to be a jockey, too short for much else.....
