I'm just grumpy, bridge, being stuck in Bumfuck Nowhere. I'm looking forward to Chrissy in a way , but only to physically get off the farm. Mum's always criticising me re my drinking uch: & Dad's a bit of a riot....but no kids, no other rellies, just OH & my folks & i.
just hoping OH can actually focus on something OTHER than farming for a change!

You got the big family do happening then bridge?

I do feel sorry for you being isolated like that. Must make it very difficult.

Had an interesting reality check when I was coming down. A young woman on the train offered to help me with my case and I thought fusk ... I've finally reached the age where I look old enough to need help. GACK! But I got over that pretty quickly when I realised how nice it was that there were still people kind enough to actually offer help.

And similarly with me too Tawn.

I now have the occassional seat offered to me, while I still offer my seat to people who look older and infirmer and fragiler. Isn't it lovely though that people DO offer their seat for you. I always accept as I remember being pissed off when I offered my seat and the offeree said "I'm only going a few stops".

No one helped me unload my trailer at the tip today though. 3 trips to tip, 2 falls on slippery grass, and a badly bruised elbow. But all cleared away. Now have to get the westringia roots out. Not looking forward to that but been raining here today so that will soften the soil. Will enedeavour to start on it tomorrow.

Here they are in my freezer took this piccy 3 mins ago....

Mr G seems to like my fridge section.
Wonder if he likes the freezer??? Note the bag of mulberries (under the packet of not burgers) rescued from the tree after the storm brought it down. Will make a memorial tart from them. And will get a new mulberry tree and a fig tree.
