      And while Reggie was sailing the ocean blue in his saucy ship, I was diving under it.... photos will be a little while coming, but they'll be up in an hour or two.

          I'm okay thanks. Worked today and tomorrow, but xmas night with family so noice. Glad you had a good sail, and merry christmas to you and your family mate.

            Evening all

            Tawny.....that sandwich looks massive, almost too big to eat.....is that a zoomed in shot?

            Well I forgot to get fruit and veg at the shops........I don't think it will kill us for one day but dinner tonight is just cucumber with cheese, eggs and a homemade turkish bread thing.

            My middle son is so hyper, he is on the verge of exploding with excitement......keeps banging into everything. And for some reason I can never sleep on Christmas Eve, not with excitement, just with wanting to wake up for the kids.

            Off to mass to redeem ourselves........

              This is a nice wholesome little Christmas Eve we have going on here.

              I am wrestling with the Icecream Bombe still, but apart from that all is well calm on the Christmas farm.

              Time to stick some lanterns out and the lights on......

                Just wrestled with, or should i say massaged a litre of choc soy ice cream. Very festive, or would that be..........overindulgent?

                    9PM Christmas Eve and she hits paydirt.....yesssssss.....

                    Muhammara: Syrian Red Pepper Spread

                    1 Tablespoon crushed dried red pepper OR 1 fresh red pepper -small OR 2 teaspoons paprika
                    1/2 Teaspoon cumin
                    3/4 cup toasted nuts almonds, walnuts, manky pack of nuts at back of pantry, roasted.
                    1/4 cup EVOO
                    1 teaspoon brown sugar or 2 Tablespoons pomegranate molasses
                    1/4 tomato paste
                    2 or 3 roasted and skinned red capsicums
                    Whole small bulb of roasted garlic, squished out.
                    1/2 teaspoon fine grain sea salt
                    (Recipe said 1/4 cup wholegrain breadcrumbs but YUK!)

                    Blitz all together in a blender/processor.

                      What a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve... underwater with the fishies, rays, octupussususus, and all the beautiful creatures we don’t often see... This is just south of Wollongong,near Shellharbour. So, while Reggie was on top, here’s what was underneath...
