hello undies, it's late & you're all snuggled up under covers, or doing dutch ovens in reg's case.
it's been a while since i've been on for a coupla reasons, but i snatch a chance daily to read & have an internal smile.
i'm in the mood for a huge vent ( yeah, yeah, you all know what i'm like), so if it gets your goat, then look away now.....
i hate :
-the flies
-the wind
-the smell of dead fuckin rabbits under our house which we cannot get to
-the constant whining sound of blokes on the 2-way chatting about incessant crap
-the fact that i'm at their beck & call : i'm just not wired that way, rather tell them to shove it, but you understand it's my "role" in the operation
-the fact that i'm going crazy inside the house but because of above mentioned wind & flies it's yuck to go out
-the feeling of being in limbo, waiting for something to happen - why am i not the person who goes & MAKES something happen
-the face in the mirror each day
-the body on the scales each day
-the presence of chocolate & sweet shit which i cannot seem to resist. if i get rid of it,
husband wants some for him to snack on.
-the positive change person in the morning who conviently leaves around lunchtime, the bitch
-my constant hayfever
-my husband for thinking/conveying the fact that he's doing all this for me....WHAT exactly is so enjoyable about this??????? (farming, i mean)
-the presence of the green-eyed monster, so much so that i am bitter about what i haven't got, which in turn makes me hate myself more for being so shallow
- thinking that, with this new horse, i'm not a good enough trainer to get her going better to sell.
- FINANCIAL INSECURITY - i don't make my own money & subsequently feel highly unstable about that. getting work around here is not an option, as i don't want to go back to being only vet for 100km, getting drained, & only other work is at pub (yeah, right, need that like a hole in the head), roadhouse & co-op, but they have a waiting list ffs!!!!!
sorry all you good people just needed to unload a bit (a lot actually), & as you understand, here is the place to do it. at least posting this so late at night for you guys at least you won't have to put up with it in rolling conversations, if you get my twisted drift.
i just want to change lives.
a part of me wants to vanish forever. sell horses, float, some belongings, get a ticket to tassie, & set up a new life.
but reading back, seeing how you all love horses, at least i know how lucky i am to have my lovely steeds.
a pic of my hopefully pregnant mare who will foal in October 2012:
