Hi Undies! I hate not posting in the morning, so much more to catch up on but everyone seems busy and well.

This is our last night night in our rental so my 90-night is being celebrated perching on the last remaining furniture and eating smoked salmon and rice again, not whinging coz I love it...thank you all for your good wishes...I have to say couldnt have done it without Undies and Army folk :h , saving me from old habits when I sought to stray...now lets talk about interesting stuff...

How is it that in the midst of paint and carpet bits and furniture Mr Happs manages to rig the old telly up to the aerial and get the cricket on??? and how does this happen in front of other stuff...He reckons hes got his priorities right...

This deep cleaning is the best thing that has ever happened to me ...apart from that night in Turkey 20 years ago.........sorry Missy, but it's best you don't know.......

Just had a bad day at the shelter and feeling quite brittle as it were.
Unfortunately stuffed baked potato didn't quite do it, so an early night is the remedy methinks. Ho hum.

I think it is wonderful that Ms. Bridget is a houseproud person who gets great satisfaction from seeing a sparkling dust and dirt free house. Sort of right up there with Reggies steam mopping.

I too get a sense of pride and satisfaction when I can see the results of hours of work cleaning and tidying the house. Unfortunately it returns to shabbiness within a couple of days and I think all that effort for such a shortlived gain....

Dunno about the cleaning caper...frightened the crap out of the little cat today with the vacuum cleaner and realised shes probably only heard it about 2-3 times since we got her....will be much BETTER in the new place I promise, steam mops will rule - well if the locust sticks to his promise of being my housekeeping bitch...

G'day Reg,

There was a mail order co. in W.A. marketing spray on hair in a tin a few years ago. I might have half a can in the shed to get you started. It had a black wooly sort of look once applied as the oxygen reacted with the product as it left the can. Would look great N.Y.E, gently rustling in the evening bay breeze.

Just see if i can find it......
