Geez, Techie, I hope 2012 will be a healthy one for you.
Missy, I still haven't finished the puzzle I started 3 weeks ago! But it will be there waiting for me when I go back home. Glad your mum will be OK.
Hmmmm I should make some NY nil procrastination plan. Let me think about it for a while.
Beagsy. Tah for caps and paras.
Hi there RC.
Mr Rags has gone up the street to get some goodies for tonight. We'll have snack type food... then wander down to Glebe Point for 9 pm fireworks. We had thought about going right into the city but decided the crowds would be a bit much. We won't see everything from the Point, but it will be great to see it live rather than on TV.
Tomorrow I'll take my (now old) camera and we're going to walk all round Glebe. It has some beautiful houses, and a few beaut water views.
Glebe Society ? Glebe Walks
He also booked dinner tomorrow night at this place, which is about 8 minutes walk from where I'm house sitting. And we walked nto Sydney CBD yesterday in about 25 minutes. I'd forgotten how close Glebe is to everything. I lived in Glebe a zillion years ago for about 4 years, but never bothered to"take it in".
Dining at the Boathouse
Monday we're going to hop on buses tothe Spit Bridge, then do the walk to Manly.

There ya go Mr G. Tha's our plans the next couple of days.
Tawn, I was in JB HI Fi yesterday getting series 4 of BBT and saw one of those fuji cameras that you just bought. What an absolutely brilliant camera for an incredibly low price! It definately outperforms the SX10
I have which is now about 4 years old. And my super duper EOS 5 is now definitely superceded, but I could never afford to get the new model body. But I might start saving for one of those Fuji's. I happened to be atJB with my mate who is incredibly knowledgeable about cameras and film (it's his job) knew all about its specs and said it is THE best camera on the market in that price range.

Sounds great Rags.
I had a residency at the Harold park hotel in Glebe near race course many years ago for about 2 years i reckon. Glebe's beautiful. And so were the chicks.
Nelz, you should see our frog on her mower. I hear she can flip it in mid air bmx style.
Orf for a run and some dinner. Slaters.

Right.
Well that's more than enough socialising for me.
I took my diet tonic water on the road and did a mobile meet and great to all the peeps.
Back home for a late dinner, and now I expect to be awoken in increments by various parties bursting into New Year's 12 O clock glee....but never at the same time....have you noticed that?
I would also just like to express my profound appreciation for having you all with me in my special, secret place that nobody else in the world knows about for another year (YES...I am talking about here....doodyheads)
Happy New Year Folk.If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
