Hello all. Did some reading back. Loved the posts. Loved TF bird, Beags horse, Mr G posting again & reggie's heart. I'm stuck in Flagstaff, AZ due to snow and icy roads. Cars w/o snow tires were not allowed to travel I40. Will try and make it back down to the valley tomorrow. John xxx

        Gday Techie,

I hope you have got on your thermal undies. How long do you think you will be stuck there? Have you recovered fully from your accident?

        Stay warm my friend,

        Saff xx:l

          Morning all, and hiya Techie!
Another day off to relax. Most likely reading on the agenda. It's not the prettiest day outside.

MB, I missed the picci too. Darn it.

              Arvo Undies and Revered Ones,

Do you sometimes wonder if all your "things" deliberately get together and plot a collective embuggerance?

So, dry rot in bedroom. Boards ripped up and replaced with yellow tongue. Still need to buy carpet to cover.

So, good mower chucks a spring somewhere in the paddock, rendering it unmowerable. Order new spring, told 3-4 days ... 9 bloody days later still no spring.

So, need to go to the tip because my 2-monthly visit is overdue, load two big wheelie bins onto ute, ute won't start. Glow plug not working. Will need the mechanical doctor.

So, something in the Froghouse keeps tripping the electrical safety switch. Get bloke who knows about such things to walk and talk me through all fault-finding processes. Crawl around and unscrew seven double power points looking for maybe a dead mouse or such. Finally determine that the power switch at location #1 is faulty. Re-screw the other six and fix main problem tomorrow.

So, I'm pretty scungy and need a shower and bugger-me-dead ... I'm out of fusking tank water. The optical sight gizmo has shat itself and has been lying to me for weeks. Water ordered and awaiting delivery.

On the upside, watched these guys for ages the other night. Lovely stuff.

I have given up wondering, I know this to be true for a certain fact!

                Lovely roos Tawny!

Sapphy, like you I have a nest or two outside my bedroom window. I think they are in the guttering. Unlike you, when they wake me up I turn over and put a pillow over my ears :H:H

Sunny - that song is glorious! Thank you for tickling my musical taste buds again!!

Do you have an opinion on Taylor Swift? I haven't had the time to sit down and really listen to her musically, but what I have heard about it intrigues me. I'm starting to collect a list of new music to put onto my i-pod for listening to over the break.

Happy - all kids with dentists for a parent grow up with major psychoses - you know that :H:H

Is conjugating shit, a pacific rim thing? My ex husband (who was raised in Hong Kong) also used the past tense for shit, which is apparently shat. Does everyone down under do that as well??? Just curious.

Loving the photos Tawny. I have seen a wallaby, never a roo tho, I would love to see one.
Sorry about your embuggarences but it did make me chuckle

... and because all Undies have studied Latin, we can further adjust our declensions to:

                        shito, shitas, shitat;
                        shitamus, shitatis, shitant

depending on whether we wish to speak in the genitive, dative, accusative, ablative, vocative or indeed the locative case ...

                        ...just sayin' ...

                        BIG waves to Wally!

Tawny - I am curious about your education!! I recognise those words, but I have no idea what they mean :H Did you learn this at school or did you do linguistics?

I thought shat was just past tense :H

Right - after too many nights in a row with late bed-times and early risings, I am going to turn in. Good night!!
