There you go, plonk your bum on that for a while...

Rags - I'll have your jigsaw puzzle!! I love jigsaws - they are mind-numbing good for chilling out and relaxing!!

Missy you would cringe watching me doing a jigsaw. Mr Rags is a wizz at it. When I get two pieces that match, I glue them together. I really am making it into a 600 piece jigsaw.!! We've been 4 days on it ... And it took me an hour to put 6 pieces together... geez Raggsy, get a bluddy life!!!
cool for cats Raggsy. I would just luv one of these. Jigsaw puzzles make me want to throw things and kick things and shout andpunch stuff and and and....you get the picture, Yes I really do need your prayer room Raggs, I am a complete nut case :H

Beautiful space there Rags......it looks like a beautiful child free haven.....exactly what I want when the monsters grow up.

I love jigsaws, normally get one every year. I love odd ones, like the ones that don't give a picture on the box or the ones with extra pieces and the one that doesn't have an edge. You can get really small boxes of jigsaws that you can travel with. This year will be jigsaw free thanks to the monster child.

I bought some of the kids presents from Amazon this year......ordered in early November and the order has disappeared somewhere in the world......but I am not alone, there seems to be hundreds of Australians stuck in the same situation. Not overly confident it will make it now. Such a pity because I really wanted that dalmation pillow pet.....

              Arvo all,

Well, I realise you poor WA buggers are over the rain but I'm stoked it's just started here. It's been quite warm, about 28C and now this sudden downpour makes everything smell brilliant.

Wouldn't be dead for quids ...

Erm ... shouldn't have made that post. 10 minutes later, the rain has stopped and we're back to brilliant sunshine

                Anyway - where's Ms. Jones?

I'd have to admit... the feller that's holding this one it cuter than the critter... imho that is......... ;o)

Zen Tasmanian Devils are cute as; they dont attack humans but sound really ferocious. They are a bit rough with each other and when mating will fight and tear out chunks of hair from each other. I just luv them. As for details Zenners, what details are we alluding to eh? :H:H Yep the fella holding the devil is a cuteeee.

Yeah well Zenners what can I say without the moderators booting me off the site:H Its going very very well indeed. He is 10 years younger than moi, an absolute gentleman, cute and kind. Not really my type...or so I thought, as I always seemed to gravitate towards the narcissistic arsehole type who would invariably make me feel very sad. This one has enough humility for both of us and prefers me to take the lead with decisions....which really suits me as I am a bossy take charge sort-a-girl (comes from bringing four boys sinmglehandedly). What about you, do you have some-one special?

Our new BBQ is now erected and functioning and I am very excited. I would love to be able to say that I played a crucial part in its assembly but the only thing I did was attach the temperature controls. However, I also made a very calming broccoli and blue cheese soup, eaten half-way through BBQ assembly and thereby narrowly averting Mr B having a major hissy fit in frustration over DIY assembly instructions.

Rags - love the beef-eaters range !! We will buy a proper BBQ when we are grown up I rooly rooly want the one that has the pizza oven attachment!!
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

                              Morning ratbags,

Slept the sleep of the innocent last night, even the pesky little birdies didnt wake me up at 4.30 as they usually manage to do. Must be all the mowing and pruning and stuff making me rooly tired. Nothing exciting happening in Saffster land today. Lots of bludy housework catchup....how do people find the time to mow grass and clean the house. Gunna throw decorations around the place today as well...get the festive feel happening.

Almost hurled my toaster in the bin this morning, thinking major embuggerance.....upon closer inspection realised it wasnt switched on at the wall..phheww close call.

Good news here re: no drinking around other folks. I think I may have mentioned that my new fella likes a drop or two. Well he has a couple of beers or glasses of wine every night, and I havent once been tempted to join him!!! Hoorah. Although I have instructed him not to have stocks of the stuff in the house, that means he has to go out every second day and buy some, one bottle of wine at a time and a six pack of beer. Smatterafact the other night he went out with friends for dinner and had a few too many, was as sick as a dog the next day. What a reminder to me that the sober life with a clear head is so much better.

There will be family and friends in and out of the house over the next few weeks and they all know not to bring grog here, although on Christmas day we are having a family bbq and I will make an exception then. Cant let my guard down folks..just not worth it.

Anyway I am off into the day to mow and slash and play........Saff xx
