Maybe send to Raggsey first Missy? I dont want to hold anyone up and I dont think I'll get time for a bit. Ella I am annoying everyone at home with time on computer searching for stuff for the house. I've got a couple of chairs I want to recover....geez you would think we were in already...

No Rags, it has/had termites, come to think of it we've never owned a house in either NSW or QLD that hasnt. Nothing a stern talking to and a barrier treatment wont fix. Plus a general clean out of all the crap timber from downstairs....

I'm up for trying to convert the fudge recipe to a stovetop procedure, will let you know. Well actually eldest locust is going to give it a whirl.

Happs - I was like a crazy woman before we moved it....had the whole house layed out in my head. We did great in the first 6 months but are slowing down now. Just getting the outside in order.

I let the fudge turn a beautiful caramel brown before I add the white chocolate and oreos. It will take a while to get to that colour and lots of stirring.

Ella ... I'd totally forgotten that a foodie mate mentioned the Thermomix ages ago, saying "you'll never need another kitchen appliance" ... blah blah blah. At the time I took a quick look at the price and it was something like $2,000 and thought 'pffffftttt!" - no way!

I've just had a look on ebay - $1250 + $130 shipping from Spain.

What do you love about it?

OK Rags - both seasons heading off your way sometime when I get myself organised. I hope it will be before Xmas but I wont promise that! If you are not interested (but I think you will be !!) , can you just keep them until Happy is ready to receive them?

And of course I might just have to watch both seasons back to back next weekend to make sure I haven't missed any nuances :H
