Underoos and Revered International Guests - December 2011

Coffee? I'm loving anything with a coffee at the moment Juja...seems I've given over to lesser vices....can you get the recipe to the Undies?

Feeling a bit yuk as well Beags.
      Christmas. Don't you love it?
Feeling more than a bit yuk. Me thinks I'm in my hole--not too deep, but there.

Like Beags, I feel isolated and lonely, and don't have much to say to DH who's always in his own world.

I detest Xmas. Not a practicing Christian, or anything else, for that matter; no locusts to be excited for, and the expectations for perfect decorating, gifts, and happiness infuriate me beyond words. Typical American excess. Makes me crazy, and extremely rebellious.

I practice love one another, and do unto others as you would have them to unto you, on a daily basis. I have always tried to be a good person, and don't know why it's necessary to tie a bow on it!

Sure. Is there an editor in residence I should send it to?

Juju, vegemite is an acquired taste. I have not acquired the taste for it either.

Rags -- Why is there no Ben and Jerrys in your freezer.

K, so no big updates here. I suppose just being pregnant caught up with me and made me sleep. I would get home from work and fall asleep. Ridiculousness. I have been watching Top Chef Texas, and reading like a mad woman. Some authors just suck you into wanting to read all their books.

So the post system is a bit ridiculous. I went down to pick up a package, and the woman could not find it. I waited 20 minutes, with an impatient line behind me. She had no clue where the package was, she told me they did not have it, and it wasn't in the system. Last look, she finds the box that says USA POST. She blamed my mom saying she put her name on the top instead of the receivers name. I said yes, that's the way the form says it's to be filled out in the USA. Awesomeness. Silly season indeed.

The dog has eaten 2 sets of Christmas lights. Last year I also electrocuted myself with Christmas lights. Now I know most of you are not the biggest fans of the season, but I am a big enough fan for the whole drawer. I absolutely LOVE Christmas, and the holiday season. However, the thing I love the MOST about it, is spending it with my family. This being my 3rd year away from them makes it seem lonely a bit. Haps, I will decorate your house next year. I finished mine in November, early November.

TF, I know I don't know you well, but I see books or read books that somehow make me think of you. strange I know.

KTAB, They do have quorn. I bought some of the chickenless nuggets tonight. However, quorn had a very interesting history as to where it is derived from. You should check it out if it interest you. Something about a fungus that was used in a war tactic to kill off a large quantity of people.
