          Well good morning troopers.
Off to finish Christams shopping today.
So will don the Kevlar vest, full facial protection and riot gear and head out the door into the fray anon.
          Wish me luck.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

              Morning all.
HP, I would say buy him the extension. I always downplay things for my husband in words, but when the Birthdays or Christmas comes around I always cheat and make them big. He says he doesn't want any fuss, and that there's nothing he wants, but he always gets really happy at the turnout.
Off to work for today. Then two days off. Watching some dogs starting tomorrow through boxing day. They are big dogs. Have a good one!

Morning all and Happy Anniversary to Happs

I just wanted to say thank you for everyone for their kind words.......it means a lot to me. The urge to have a drink has been strong.....really wanting something to relieve the stress at the moment. So instead I headed to the gym last night and off again today.

I have been thinking I will kidnap them all and we will have brekky on the beach then back for an easy relaxing day....Mr Happs want to start painting Saturday :egad: and I sense he will want to work through, but I might demand he take time off. Hes been working 12 hour shifts, which is lovely on the money stakes but he is looking really tired.

And its our wedding anniversary tomorrow, I think I've exaggerated how many years - or I cant count - but its a LOOOONG time....
Hmmmm, Can you convince Mr Happiness to take Sat off and celebrate your wedding anniversary sans children? And perhaps start painting on Sunday?

Yep, buy the extension pole. Mr Rags just bought me a U beaut hedge trimmer for Christmas. I have bought him tour spending money for the ski trip. Well, I'm going to travelex to-day to get it.

I'd buy him the extension pole.....you can get a really good quality one that will last forever and I would get him some good paintbrushes and rollers........men really appreciate good quality painting supplies. And I know how itching you guys are to just get in there and paint the place clean. Have fun.

Dunno about rollers. They use so much water to wash the paint off. I now buy cheapy ones then bin them when finished. I assume Mr Happiness knows about wrapping them in gladwrap if he's going to be using them with same coloured paint over a period of time. What colours are you choosing?

Back from round 1 of drop and runs...its going to be a big day. Armed with a coffee - ah caffeine my new love - and nearly ready to work.

Have bought the extenshun - lucky man - we have rollers made of microfibre (!) used to buy the cheaper ones Rags but I bitched about the lint so we are trialing these....everthing is going to be Dulux Antique White USA - walls and ceilings - its like the episode of Absolutely Fabulous - White Box...all I need now is the padded jackets in various sizes...
