      THE UNDIES RECIPE BOOK

Just looking through it to put stuff on my Christmas grocery shopping and I had a couple of little brainwaves, one of which is when you have time, pm me your favourite Christmas dish/recipe. These will go in the next new improved layout edition of the Undies recipe book. Also worked out how to cut cost for colour pages.... at about 2 am this morning, which means the magnificent shots Tawn sent me can go in.

yeah yeah, I know this is a dumb time to be asking for recipes, so whenever you get round to it will be fine. And can Techie Ringing Cedars and Tippy contribute too please? And KTAB.

PM them to me rather than put them on a post.

      Thanks,

      Raggsy .

Rags, thanks only too happy to be invited to send you a couple of my recipes for inclusion in the next issue.
Well now folks I have got to thinking about the personal cost in time and monetary terms of colour printing and paper and binding and envelopes and stamps, (which by they way postage alone was over $20 that rags personally spent on mine the last time) not to mention the time spent setting it all up, printing out, folding, stapling, packaging, addressing envelopes and trotting to the post office.
Well now why not just email a PDF and people can print it out themselves me thinks and if you need a hand in settIng it up Rags I can help.

that's an excellent idea ktab. ragsy must have indeedy spent a small fortune getting that booklet together.

& ragsy, i will gather more inspiring recipes than scrambled eggs & lamb curry to pop in the next edition.
speaking of which, going to bone out a shoulder to whack in the slow cooker now.....
only 1 more sleep for me until i get the frock outta this place for a few days!

downer : car wouldn't start. either both batteries stuffed or starter motor.
upper : autoelectrician came out today so hopefully the Meat Wagon will be running soon....

          oh, & it's hot.
          that is all.

But, I agree with Tabbers, PDF would save on postage. Bloomin postage is almost as much as what we send sometimes! Been dealing with it for years between the UK and here. Will toilet paper the Post Office when I drive by next...
As I'm still waiting for my cookbook and other assorted items :upset: I will be standing next to you handing the ammunition Zenny....

            inski then outski again....

              Arvo all,

Yup, Raggsy's generosity is bordering on the insane and I say that in the most appreciative manner. Great idea, KTAB!!

You're on!! I had thought of doing it like that, but I wanted it to be a bit personal. But yep, I'll reformat some of the stuff and send it to you by email when all the recipes are in. Thanks a lot KT :l :l

Now, all I need is someone to give me 3 weeks tuition on how to work my Samsung Galaxy .......

Both batteries? We had a similar prob acouple of weeks ago when the house (aux) battery was draining the starter battery. It was a short in a parking light or sumfink. Thank heavens for auto leccy people.

Hasn't been hot here for weeks.... We're sitting in either a series of mild lows or troughs here. Getting a good bit of consistant, light rain for the last few weeks. But we've been so used to the last 8 year drought cycle that we think this is unusual weather. There is no satisfying us!! BTW do you get all the Russian duty forecasters on ABC over there? Took me a while to adjust to their accents and pronunciation and emPHARsis.

                      Did you get my card?

Have you checked the ditch for the postman?
                      Don't scan Zenny.
I have one spare copy which I'll send to Happs new address when she pm's it to me.
And I can also bung the whole lot as an email attachment.

Some of you will also have received a DELICIOUS 2012 Diary so you'll know what Bridge and Tawn (and other Undies) are yapping about.

Really REALLY thoughtful of you Raggs. Just lovely.
No excuses to have a disorganised year now, or a yukky food one.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Oh, and I'll show you the U beaut mattock I bought... very thin blade but I thought it would be good to get under the roots. I find out tomorrow morning. I took a spill on slippery pathway when loading trailer and hurt my elbow. Unfortunately it is a lot sorer than it looks. So we'll see how well I can swing the mattock termorrow.
                              OK
Off to do dinner.... lamb chops, peas and potato.
